Murphy states on an earlier show that Poch should be given more time because he took Chelsea to a cup final. OK, ETH took ManU to two cup finals and third place in his first year and won the cup that Poch did not. Five games into this season, Murphy is calling for ETH to be sacked, so where is the logic, reach a cup final and be given a chance even when you did not win it. but five games later sack a manager that won that same cup. ETH has taken ManU to another cup final, which is more than most managers in the league and yet he still is not good enough, really, well thought of at Bayern and did tremendous at Ajax, three cup finals in two years with a catalog of injuries from the go but Danny has one thing in his favour, like all of ETH's critics He has never managed a club and the others who have, all failed. None of them have done nothing remotely to what ETH has achieved and like all the great managers they needed time and support, Sir Alex took five years, Pep took two and Klop took three years. Their moans and groans are all about their current jobs, something to moan and shout about as pundits and even them talk about playing a game that has moved on from their playing days, where they could kick people around, today they would be dinosaurs and red carded, that's all what this is about, creating narrative in perpetuity, giving them something to write and talk about
They've tried different managers whilst keeping the dross players. How about getting rid of the dross and keeping the manager? Try something different for a change. If it doesn't work, then sack him.

You'd know.
I mean when you start your sentence with, "I don't know the man but.." and then proceed to say that he is not the man to manage this group of players is a sign in itself that your statement provides no value to the conversation whatsoever. How do you know if Ten Hag is the man to take this group of players forward when you don't know Ten Hag personally, his management capabilities or know what managing players and a club at that level actually requires. Murphy has never managed a club and Jordan led Crystal Palace to administration. These three are a comedic trio: the one that looks at his phone the whole time, the guy that hates on everyone non-Liverpool and the "yes-man" in the middle agreeing to most of the ridiculous stuff they say.
No manager will be successful at Weekly Wages FC. These players are fully aware they do not have to perform UNLESS they feel like it.
I think 2 years is enough to see if a manager is good enough or not for what you want to do.

@sohailhussain9662 Ferguson's era was a very long time ago and Man Utd were a midtable team when he took over. Klopp finished 4th in his 2nd season. Arteta, fair enough he turned it around.

Klopp, Fergie and Arteta all took time to produce winning teams but they were very clear about their direction, and there were reasons for optimism. Ten Hag hasn’t got a clue about anything and there’s no reason for optimism under him

Cool analysis. Any reason why Utd aren't interested in J.Klopp ? He knows the league, the club, europe. Has won the league, the cups, the UCL and speaks english fluently. He is working in the UK so getting a work permit should be easy and looks good in red.

Man Utd should make a change but they will very much likely have the same problem at the end of next season because the entire working environment and culture of that club looks to be toxic. They have been through the same loop since Fergie left. Everything starts well, then the momentum falls, the manager gets into a spat with the media, the players stop playing for the manager, the manager takes the flak and is let go because of the poor results. It's happened every time.

I really don’t like to comment on these types of realities but Danny has spot on points.
Simon explains things very well. Just look at what Hag has added to the club, what was within HIS control (which is what we see on gameday). His contribution is shambolic to say the least. He buys poor players for unreal money, and not only that, keeps playing them even though they have performed miserably.
