- Mr. Peabody and Sherman collectively answer 26 questions in the final chase, which-when added to their 2-step head-start-amounts to a massive 28 steps and an absolute sprint needed from The Shark!
*️⃣ This episode uses the half-hour, 2-player format first seen in The Chase Australia. Both contestants play a cashbuilder, and the person with the highest CB faces off against the chaser in the head-to-head for the combined CB amount. If that player wins & banks the money for the team, both contestants play the final chase. If that player gets caught at the table, the game goes to a Lazarus-esque final and the team has to choose which contestant will play the final (this particular version does not grant a head-start for Lazarus finals either).

Ironically Brydon had 21|28 in Australia too when he was facing a trio with 27+1 steps.
Amazing job by these two! I would have loved playing against that 28, because I love playing against high scores in general >:D
Bradley I DARE you to say "Thanks for watching everyone" if I was the chaser and there is a 28, bcs I will shout at his ass until I catched it. :P
28 for me is like the 50/50 score, I can either completely obliterate it or fall apart and barely not catch it.
Anyway, these two deserved to win more than any other team I have seen in your series bcs well... 28 is a -bad- good target

I didn’t bother lol. That was a straight screencap from a full episode when they were still available on YT *:P*
Starting Season 4, I will crop the AU chasers onto a UK background (essentially removing the watermark), but the UK chasers’ screencaps will still have the ITV1 watermark.

I did rig this one, yes. Ain’t no way I was going to get 28 on my own 😅
Though I don’t really like people thinking it’s *me* playing these _The Chase (ACE)_ episodes, whether I’m playing legitimately or not. I try to keep the focus as “the characters against the chaser”, and some targets do reflect their actual personality traits (e.g. this 28 was largely based on Mr. Peabody and Sherman’s incredibly smart intellect). Once this batch of episodes is over, I will release a few mini-clips of me against the chasers that can & should be treated as me “playing”.
