These are some excellent cars overall. The 90's and the 2000's I think were the best years for Cadillac next to the 50's and 60's era's. Cadillac was making some great models and the overall build quality and reliability was greatly improved starting with the new Eldorado and Seville for the 92 model year. And they only got better since then. I remember when these cars where in the showroom and they were nice. I have a newer 2005 Deville as my daily driver but I also have a 1999 Seville STS which is another great car. You cannot go wrong with a Cadillac Deville. Proper maintenance plays a big key role just as any other luxury car.
My grandfather always drove a Cadillac, he was a mechanic and owned a garage in Lacey, in Washington state. He had a few of them, and they were built like tanks.
It really is a shame that the Cadillacs' of this era had lousy reliability. I truly think this was the best era for Cadillac as far as design (interior and exterior) the Seville "STS" is one of my all time favorite cars!! They are just so damn fantastic! Which is why it pains me to see next to none on the road anymore 'cause of those shotty Northstars and their god awful gaskets. Terrible to waste a time of such great design on a time of such sub-par mechanical engineering :/
I remember this commercial growing up...Thanks for uploading it!

This is the ad that sold me on a 1998 DeVille. Thanks for posting.
A horse eating hay out of the back of a Cadillac inspired you to buy a deville? I know this is 5 years ago, but it needed to be addressed.
I was sitting there always thinking the background looked familiar. I guess it was the Mendocino Coast after all.
Back in a world worth living in. All went to crap in 2001 and rotted into garbage in 2020.

I just bought one so I'm curious on how the commercials went down
Northstars are great engines so long as you maintain them. Do not neglect 2000k oil changes or 2 yr 30k mile coolant changes.
Makin whoopee
Sad thing is, Cadillac was hoping for a younger client base, yet they’re marketing was still geared towards the 50+ crowd.
