Hi. Does the tester works only with Bosch Glass breaks or it works with other glass breaks brands?

It depends--the different manufacturers believe glass breaks in various frequencies, so the Bosch sensor may work with other sensors but to be on the safe side, I'd recommend making sure to use the same brand of tester as your sensor.

I am using a brand new Interlogix glass break and i have the interlogix tester. I couldn't unseal the zone even using marbles, keys, tapping, clapping.
Please advice me about the best way to test the glass break.

hi chris i have been looking to do exactly what you did in this test but have the siren keep going

Hey Devilshockey, the Glass Break Sensor I used in the video would actually shut after a period of time, however; you could add a relay in between the sensor and the siren and have the relay keep the siren on until you turned off the siren. I'm currently traveling for the next couple of months, but when I get home, Ill add this project to my 'video-to-do' list and put together some schematics and make a video about it.

I have these in my house wired up to a CPI system and in my testing (on chime) clapping my hands loudly or playing glass break sounds did nothing but swatting a misquito with a plastic object against the floor set it off. I heard "*beep beep* DINING GLASS BREAK DETECTOR OPEN"

I want to have a glass-break alarm that operates on its own. No other alarm system needed. So I need the sensor and the microphone. How do I make this work with the Bosch? I can see the picture in your video, but how do I assemble it? Is there a way to just plug the microphone into a wall outlet?

Hi, Mr Chris am Akwasi from Ghana i like watching your videos and it has helped me a lot. Thanks but i really need your help to understand more about security systems because that is what I do. Akwesi, Thank you for watching and your comment! I am glad to know my videos are helping. My favorite places I have ever traveled to have been in Africa. I know security can be tough, so again, I'm glad my videos are helping you. There are several videos on my channel that will probably help you (vehicle tracking) but I will work on some of the other topics you mentioned. It will take me some time though. -Chris

hımm, so i should find a solution for narrowly directed soundwaves(laser speakers) to trigging alarm.
