What a legend he was, don’t make kickboxers like them anymore,so many legends back then, and they all fought each other to,glaube made Brazilian kick famous, only person who could do it of the lead leg to,
Feitosa's round house kick was something special. Most people kick with the rear leg and in a semi circle. Feitosa kicks with the lead leg and kind of diagonal from above. Very difficult to defend as the trajectory of the kick was not coming up in uniform direction. Of course his 6' 4" frame helps in reaching that height. His kick against Schilt's head was especially brilliant as Schilt is like 6' 11".
Feitosa was real tough and powerful fighter but his top two weak points prevented him of becoming a K-1 Legend : 1- Weak hand skills - he literally had zero boxing, not even throwed simplest box combinations , 2- Weak / Lacking Defence - Since he was a KyokushinKA, he cared less of defending and mostly focused on attacking-pressure... 😊
Still Glaube beat Alistair Overeem, Cheick Kongo, Muay Thai Champion Dewey Cooper,Golden Gloves Gary Gooddridge, World Heavyweight Muay Thai Champion Musashi,Paul Slowinski 4 Times Muay Thai World Champion, K1 Champion Ruslan Karaev and the Boxer Chalid Arrab.
Glaube fighted against the Best Strikers in planet he's a legend in my book, Everyone lose in K1 even Buakaw or Cro Cop have ugly defeats in K1 doesn't change they are warriors.
Glaube and Peter Aerts are my Favorite K1 fighters because they are soo agressive even if bring them some loses it's risky fight like that against Super Elite Strikers.
