- Solo camping by a pristine river in Kenaboi State Park (Taman Alam Liar Negeri Kenaboi), which is tucked away in the hilly and remote district of Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
Forester's first time at river crossing, heavy rain and a near encounter with 'Kepala Air', chill time with campfire, and spa time at a natural jacuzzi.
Credits to Patrick the cool and kind camp neighbour for the drone footage!

Thank you very much
Nice greenery and water flowing through the river, feels calm and peaceful 🙏🏻
Really beautiful. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing these beautiful streams. I am from Singapore. Hopefully, my two wheels drive can take me up there without torchuring my engine 😂
Hi, it's my utmost pleasure to share these beautiful places. You're most welcome to Malaysia to explore our rainforests and rivers and mountains (and mosquitoes and leeches too. haha)!
With a 2 wheel drive, might have to be picky on the locations. Or else it might be an expensive lesson!
@Jun Outdoors Thanks for the valuable advice, Jun
Thank you. I feel refreshed watching you in such green surrounds.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers! :)
Looks like a good place to take your new LC now that it's restored.
Would be nice to revisit this place :)
nice spot..suitable for nature lover
Cool spot. Looks simple but it takes guts to camp alone overnight.
lovely video showing a peaceful spot. love the scenic mountains. the stream looks clean, gentle and inviting. the background music got me off the ground :)
Nice camping site. I did camping here with my family. Drove across the river with my son's Ford Ranger.
Further up the river from your tent was where you can drive your car across the river to the other camping side.
Admire you brave lady ...
It is indeed a very good campsite I would love to revisit. Ford Ranger definitely could cross the river effortlessly!
Amen, just stay safe and Healthy and enjoy your holiday camping.
It's nice to see some Malaysian girl enjoying this sort of activity. Subbed~
Thanks for watching and supporting!

Hi I'm enjoying watching your video Keep it up 👍👍👍
How can u be so brave? What a cool and positive person u are.. Can u share some tips to go solo camping? Really wanna go 💯
Thank you for your kind words. I'm not brave actually. Still have certain fears and worries but I try my best to be courageous at all times, but practise caution and common sense! Tips on solo camping...I will work on this content hopefully soon!
U just deserve those compliment.. Tbh, seeing u as a women go solo camping really encourage me to go for it too.. All the negative thought in my mind at least not so dominant.. Thanks for that.. Well im gonna wait my notification to pop out. Keep it up 🔥🔥

Im very motivated to see you doing this solo camps and would you mind doing some reviews and stuffs for beginners campers....
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes I do plan to make more videos as such in the future so please stay tuned! :)
Nice spot Jun.. stay safe
hi , wow so nice , i like solo camping also , can i joint u next camping
I like the way u put back the stone and stir the ashes makes it look like the way it was before...undisturbed.
I try to leave no trace whenever I can :)
@@JunOutdoors That's a good outdoor principle. To keep the area as natural looking as possible. Stripping/cutting branches from standing or fallen trees (fallen trees are home to insects and provide nutrients back to soil thru decompositions) will degrade natural appearance over time. The best way to enjoy nature is leave no trace with minimal impact.
Superb video, an area of the world I would love to visit.
Thanks for watching. Yes the rainforests here are beautiful! Come visit!
@@JunOutdoors one day for sure

Thanks for watching!
Good afternoon Jun. Another relaxing video, which I very much enjoyed. However, when I watch all of these videos I am left wanting to know more about what I am seeing. Perhaps you could answer a few of these questions? 1. After you setup your campsite you lit a small circular disk which intrigued me greatly. Was that some form of incense burner? 2. Your cinematography is excellent. Can you please tell me what camera you use? It must be waterproof or has a waterproof case. 3. I’m still intrigued to know what you do for your living. I’m guessing that you are a Lawyer or an Accountant. Are you able to clarify what your occupation is? And, after all of the questions thank you for your presentation. Kind regards Alan
Hello Alan. Thanks again for dropping another lovely comment.
1. That is a mosquito repellent coil that wards off mosquitoes.
2. The camera I used in this particular video is a GoPro Hero 7 Black action camera, which is waterproof. In my newer videos, I use Sony ZVe10.
3. Actually I would prefer not to disclose that :)
Cheers!
@@JunOutdoors thank you for your kind reply. You will remain a Lady of mystery which will only add to the enjoyment of your work. With kind regards Alan

Nice jun...been there few times. I suggest u should try another campsite right before the enterance. But with this kinda of weather and a solo camping...taman negeri more safer for you. Anyway, be safe & stay safe....keep posting 😊😊
Oh I saw that campsite you're talking about. It's just few mins before reaching the entrance. Someday soon maybe :) The weather is getting more and more unpredictable these days.
@@JunOutdoors yeah...raining almost everyday. After raya im planning to camp somewhere but not much campsite in N9 (due to no state crossing)...do you hv any nice camp spot to suggest? 😊
@@lavoyageur4008 Well I've been trying to look for more campsites in N9 too. Not many options. I heard about Ponak and Aten (kenaboi) area but have not tried. PD is overcrowded and too much traffic noise.
@@JunOutdoors aten camp just across the river few meter before u arrive state park...ponak camp is the one i told u beside the state camp...but both is wild campsite...😊 there r some others campsite but i hvent try....i’ll update u soon 😁
Jun, try endau rompin selai. Been there once. Would love to see you solo camping there...
Ahh, someday soon!
Tabik spring to Jun. Nice video & tough lady. Subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
Yo Jun. Check out for Quechua 2p 100mh tent. Available in Decathlon. I tested the tent already to a trip in Kuantan by the beach. I went through a rather long night (a typhoon passed us thru) but the tent was good. no leaking etc. just MYR 150.
Hi there, thanks for the suggestion. I have camped with a friend who has the same tent too and I do agree with you, it's a really good tent! I bought a somewhat similar tent few years back in Decathlon India too and it served me well on my backpacking trips all over India!
Missing camping with you! Soon we shall go for our next one, maybe up North or even down South (screw Covid 🥺)
Yea I'm running out of places to explore in N9 already haha. Soon babe, soon!
hai jun. macam mana u pam tilam just use your kaki only. please buat review

Biasa2 only. Just enjoying nature :)

Hi, if you don't mind, what camera are you using for recording? Thanks!
In this video, I used a GoPro Hero 7 Black. But in my recent videos, I have started using Sony ZV-E10
Coffee ... ☺️
One tough lady over here, people.
太棒了加油💪
Do you have equipment to protect yourself from predators?
😀👍
Next time bring a bottle of wine or whiskey, you'll be more cheerful. Cheers
nice
i would just get a tent that IS waterproof with a high weather rating as im not a fan of putting up flysheets and groundsheets. i do use those for my spare tent as it's like the one in the vid too.
Your tent must be a really good one. I plan to upgrade my tent someday too as I personally do not like putting up fly sheet either! Haha
@@JunOutdoors nolah not that good... just new, RM300 from decathlon, quechua apernaz fam 4 i think? not much air flow thought so rather stuffy
uik kg den ni.. den pun xpnh smp lgi sni.. haha
Another very nice vlog, great sharing, Thank You !!
U started with soaking wet of sweat, is it bcoz of hot weather ?
Since u love to camp near river/stream, very sure u should hv know the early warning sign of kepala air ?
Just curious, by doing outdoor activities solo(especially lady like u), hv u ever been 'kacau' b4 both by human n those jungle spirit ???
Started with a bucket of sweat as I had to set up camp in the blazing afternoon sun at 1pm. Haha.
I personally have not encountered a real kepala air before, but am aware of the warning signs and what to look out for when choosing a campspot. Of course, still learning from videos and people who have experienced it. Mother nature is powerful.
Tak pernah dikacau as of today. But I always 'mintak izin' in my heart everywhere I go :)
@@JunOutdoors
As of kepala air(think u already know) but still wanted to share if it's benefitial to u
The very first warning sign is (if u peka or aware while having a dip) : (1)the current started to sweep-up the sand, u can easily see it as the water still very clear, moment later (2)lots of dead leaves/rubbish coming from up stream, by this time if u didn't get out from the water, very2 soon (3) the strong n terrible 'teh tarik' going to whack havoc where the water level would be rising extreme fast
From (1) to (3) only about 4-5 minutes. Witness such phenomenal twice n almost lost my youngest son but Thanks God, nothing bad happen
While happily enjoying our holiday, please be alert at the same time
Chinese got one saying : bully mountain but never bully water
Where was this video done! It’s beautiful!
It's in Kenaboi State Park, jelebu, negeri sembilan, malaysia!
Bila nk datang camp dekat langkawi
next time boleh saya join. we going to jeram berungut together.. around 30-40 minute from your camp site.. do you went to lata kijang?
Jeram berungut and lata kijang belum lagi try. Soon soon!
How far was the camping spot @ 0:28 from where you parked your car? Was it a long walk?
Not too far actually. About 200m I would say. 5-10 mins walk.
Lagu time drone tu lagu ape ye? Nice song..
ruclips.net/video/bUhITJoriYA/видео.html
I love this song too!
Tq jun! 😁👍🏻
Lebar jugak sungai ni
👍👍👍
Kalau datang kuantan, boleh cuba pergi ke air terjun pelangi
