Please make a video about why you like Epsom leather. I haven’t had much luck with it but it could have been when Hermes first came out with it. Maybe it’s been improved? I had a white Epsom Bearn and the corners would peel and not wear well. It’s a pressed leather and rather stiff. My white Epsom Birkin was starting to turn yellow and peel too.

Wow, beautiful collection! You’re so lucky to be in a wishlist country! In the US it’s soooo difficult! I’ve been shopping and spending (a lot) for >1.5yrs and still nothing! Seems like whether you’re in a wishlist country or not, a big key is having a “great relationship“ with your SA. What do you think made your relationships with your first 2 SA’s so great? I think that’s where I’m having issues, my SA is nice and pleasant enough, but we just don’t really “click“. Any tips or a video on how you thought that y’all specifically clicked would be super helpful!
Thank you very much. I know exactly what you mean about the relationship. It can be pleasant and cordial or it can be much more easy and effortless. I am not sure I can give exact tips as it’s very organic. I guess it’s like friendships - sometimes you just click with people and it’s not easy to put your finger on why. The key is always to be yourself and then it’s organic and real. I have never tried tactics or strategies - so maybe that is why it doesn’t work for some people. I think sometimes people try too hard and it comes across that way. X
I placed a single wish but did not realise it’s possible to create more than one different bag combination on the wish list. I should ask next time I’m in store. Sadly I don’t have an SA in London.
Hello, as your recent wishlists have expired without bag offers, do you think the current reality in the UK has changed in that people’s wishlist will likely keep on expiring unless they spend on other items? As in Hermes allows people to “jump the queue” if they spend and others who don’t are being pushed back to the bottom of the waitlist until it expires?
I would love to know more about the unwritten codes of buying bags new, whether from Hermes, Chanel, LV or others. I've only ever bought by walking into a shop, or preloved from an etailer. I bought my Evelyn when I walked into the Toronto store, with no buying history in that store, but that was 2014, so perhaps things have changed. ie. do you need to buy a bunch of stuff to be able to give them a wish list? Do they consider your buying history before calling you? Is your buying history global, or specific to a country, or city? What are the differences between houses? This is purely voyeuristic fun for me, but oh what fun! TIA!
