This song is like a drug to me, always takes me to another world in my mind. The fact that I can learn to play it here, ill be leaven this world. Thank you for this.
Best outro ever? To think that the perfect studio ballad could actually be improved upon live as it was, especially in the fifteen minute live version from On Stage in '77.
Check out his later stuff with Rainbow in the 80s. Thise albums and songs have more melodic feel. Songs like Cant let you go, Street of Dreams, Stone Cold.
I read an old review of this song recently and the song was criticized for Ronnie's errant lyrics on this piece. I've always loved it for its simple beauty and taste - what's not to love. Nice job Adam.
There's always somebody that has to put down a perfect song. Ronnie didn't really belt out the vocals but the song didn't call for that kind of singing. I thought it was superb.
For now I decided not to tab that live version I posted because that was me jamming but I am thinking about transcribing a live version but they are so long which is great to listen to but huge work to tab.
He is especially underrated in this regard I agree. I even made a longer slide like Blackmore lesson to help people understand the complexity of playing slide like him.
Man I wished Blackmore didn’t die too early in the story cause his stand catch the rainbow was pretty cool walking on rain. This is from JoJo’s bizarre adventure
Thanks! Well the only other song I am planning to cover from the 93 video besides difficult to cure which I already did is battle rages on. I am not too crazy about that child solo. But we can go over the strategies and patterns Blackmore used that time on a skype lesson.
Thanks! I dont exactly know it is a basic dunlop slide. For Blackmore is you are holding it in your hand it kinda doesnt matter as long as it is a steel one and straight not curved. I have a couple of different glass and brass slides for putting on my fingers though.

This is great DogwithtwoBones! By the way I purchased your tab to "The Shed". Well worth the price my friend. If you love some of the more obscure Blackmore songs; check out DogwithtwoBones TABs they are awesome! Hope you do a video of The Shed one day!

@@harricoco yes! However it is pretty expensive, it is a very good replica of that rare schulte compact phasing A that Blackmore used. This is the updated version of ehat I have: reverb.com/item/42887728-pedalhealer-number-one-phasing?

That's a difficult question. I guess you could start learning anything just don't get discouraged if it is too hard ot you don't get it. Move on then and come back to it in a couple of month.
