On a poppet valve 2 stroke 998CID E9 ethanol conversion 3550hp running 2 MSD magneto's making 55KV per plug, if one MSD magneto gives out will the other one make a hot enough spark to fire it? its running as a 2 stroke and fires each cylinder and is loop charged with baffled inlet valves. it is dry sump with castor 927 maxima pulled off and blended at about 32:1 with the ethanol for fuel.
E9 is 16.4 liters, one of the biggest. In the USA they were 400-500 hp. Renault then used them in their cabover truck AE Magnum from 1990-1997 with power of 500, 530 and 560hp. caterpillar also had a truck V8, the 3408,18 liters
There's not really any videos on RUclips of people with trucks like this giving walk around videos of the engine spec details. It would be interesting if you would do that at some point. I recently got fascinated by the amount of power that you can get out of these truck engines after I saw the videos of Albert Brown's "Back in Black" pulling truck doing burnouts. I always liked Mack trucks. How much horsepower does this truck have? It's amazing when these trucks do 1/4 mile times in the 13s & 14s.
You should check out Francis Engineering, they’re the leading builders and developers of E9 engines and performance parts in the North America’s. If you want to see the forefront of Mack V8 performance, they’re the ones doing it.
Hi - I am really interested in this truck, what engine modifications have been done, have there been upgrades this time over the past video series? i watch the older videos all the time.
Those boys never leave home, or install truck motors without a pistol in the waist band!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 The lope on that V-8 is serious!!!
Nice video Jill, hoping to see that Mack in action this year somewhere.
It’s back together…maybe you’ll catch it somewhere…if not…there is always the videos…ha ha.

Always nice to have a little pocket sized dude on the crew! They can get into so many places!
What's the displacement of the E9? Sounds tuff!

Great looking Mack. Custom made manifolds. Where are the turbos? I take it that's an intercooler on top. This would be around the 650 hp mark surely.
1 Turbo. Intercooler on top. A lot more than 650 hp. Thanks for watching.
Как можно купить запчасти на этот двигатель?
I'm gonna guess over 4,000 horses. Or would that be bulldogs? Lol. Yeah these rigs are pretty insane.

Upon first glance, I thought this was the "Killer" out of Painesville Ohio.
It was the Old Scalded Dog.
