Restore Oakland: a Model for Community Investment and Safety

In 2019 the Ella Baker Center will move to our new, permanent home in a community advocacy and training center called Restore Oakland.
Restore Oakland, a joint initiative of the Ella Baker Center and the Restaurant Opportunities Center United (ROC United), will be a place where our members, our families and our communities can truly thrive. We’ll be working in partnership with Causa Justice/Just Cause, Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth (RJOY), Community Works West, La Cocina and other amazing organizations.
