I played with a guy that no matter what character, they would run off ahead of every else and fight (really trying to get treasure ahead of everyone else). They got the party into fights that weren't necessary and even had to be rescued on more than one occasion. The DM picked favorites and by the end of it, they had the best gear and every elses gear was like trick magical items with some type of stipulation. His magic items worked as intended and he had more. The DM would try to kill off certain characters if he was upset at the player in real life. etc. It was a real toxic environment.

Joke characters work better in one shots. It gets old real quick in a campaign.

I have a character with my current group that was initially very bigoted. He's a reborn minotaur that was from a time where his secluded tribe was openly hostile to anything and anyone non-minotaur that entered their territory. Almost half a year into the game, and he's got an aarakocra best friend, a hobgoblin soon to be chieftess, and an elf lover. His arc has been so fun and meaningful for me to play, and I'm glad i was able to get it to go smoothly. I think the only way I was able to make it work is because I made sure to brief it with the group before fully committing to the bigotry for his character. Always remember, communication is key in DnD!

Communication is key in D&D and most things in life. Great character.

I once had a deaf/mute druid who used sign language and writing if sign wasn't understood. She was a sweetie, but could get a bit spicy at times and wasn't afraid to "tel" someone off if needed. I loved that about her.
Also had a loner character that got wrapped up in the group due to his more out-going little sister. He slowly came around, but still isn't overly chatty.

The thing about fantasy "bigotry" is that all of these fantasy species have alien mindsets. They're not all just the same as us underneath. They are deeply and meaningfully different. They do not have the same sense of morality, society, personal interaction, or anything else, and they shouldn't. They should, as a species, not just as individuals or cultues, be inherently different from us. They should be okay with things that humans are horrified by, and horrified by things that humans are okay with. Pretending those differences are just bigoted misunderstandings destroys the fantasy setting and effectively removes the concept of fantasy races from your setting, leaving you with just different colors and shapedof humans.

the real problem for Mute PC's is the Casting Verbal Spells situation. They keep asking me if i'd let them use sign for Verbal, but that breaks crucial dev-intended Silence Counterplay.
Like sign and writing work for communication, but not for casting. And most players who ask me for mute PC's want to be casters. (i get it, Marshals tend to get boring in long campaigns, and you want your character to be cool. But VSM exists for a reason and letting a wizard cast without incantation breaks so many things.)
I do have a blind PC though. Fighter/Marid Warlock mutliclass, Blindfighting and the "detect magic at will" invocation.
Turns out Misty Step and Counterspell are a lot less usefull when "you can see" restrictions are limited to 10 feet around you.

Played in a group that had a person who decided they were a drug and sex addict . The were greedy and selfish- It was awful. The situations they got the party into sidetracked every other player and sucked all the oxygen from the room. The rest of the 4 players eventually ganked them and left them for dead, telling the DM and the player that was our last session. It was nice- we each forced them to sit still and not interrupt our own roll play opportunities to close the session. The DM and the player were never open to growth or communication. Covid raised its ugly head and we never met as a group again. I am still Leary of playing at a table where sex and drugs are a joke- but will be more proactive in discussing lines and veils before joining a group again. Character growth and community is why we come together to tell a story- let’s remember this is a collaborative process .

Dude, your examples are not examples. They're just generic statements that could apply to anyone.

Honestly none of these are a problem unless they're overdone to be a problem. Lord of the Rings had massive tension between the dwarves and the elves. Getting past that was an awesome journey. Hobbits are all hedonists. It's only one of their traits.
Should you sexually harass every NPC? Nah. Should you hit on other player characters? Not unless the whole table buys in. But if your Bard hits on a barmaid in town once between each adventure, or your Dwarf makes a comment once every session or two about how "only an elf could miss that," or even better, "quite impressive.. For a elf," this brings one dimension in.
This whole video is saying "these five are bad when overdone" yeah, everything is bad overdone, people. I can have a cleric or paladin of whoever.. If that's their only dimension, they're flat.
The lobe wolf or anti social along with a mute (whom would also have problems communicating) are likely the only one(s) you listed that are almost sure to cause problems.
You could have added things like murder hobos, kleptomaniacs, criminals/outlaws, etc, as unless the entire party wants to play that way, they're going to ruin everybody's fun.
