Cool! Good to hear some positive feedback on it (Not that I've seen negative). I think I'm pretty set on selecting the NF-1 as my next synth purchase here real quick. Your videos with it definitely helped my decision making. ;)
Herr Absurd It's very versatile. The FM and Additive side combined with the VA makes it really flexible. I haven't quite got used to the operating system just yet but most of the operations are simple.
I'm left speechless... please buy it, make a record and let me know so I can buy it and listen for hours. PS. Do you have anything in common ith Steve Morley? ;)
Hi there. It's easy to program on the surface but there are some modulation features etc that need you to dive into menus. Some aspects of the OS seem a bit counterintuitive to me but I haven't spent much time with it yet. In short, yes it's easy to use but you need to read the manual to grasp some ways that it works. As for value, considering the features and hardware I'd say yes. To my ears it sounds much nicer than other VA synths and on top of that it has the formant filter, additive and FM synthesis. But it's not an impulse buy at €1000 so I'd certainly test one before buying as all synths are very much a personal thing.
I think it’s all down to personal taste. The JD is a powerful machine too. Right now my favorite pads are coming from the Kawai K5000s. But the Modor can do a lot more than just what I show here too.
+PorticoMono I never got on with the Virus myself. I like the sound here better, but personal taste is everything I guess. At 4 minutes it does stuff I like a lot.
The layout is so pretty, very 80's retro futuristic. Actually very 70's minimalistic, for an Stanley Kubrick movie.
+vjrei good eye .. 2001 space, or knobs similar to clock work orange when they show the various mcintosh amps or sansui deck
Totally.
you sold me on this synth. literally. been wanting to buy one. watched this video. bought one the next day. very excited!
so captivating. i keep coming back to this again & again.
Thank you!
Beautiful ambient sounds. I hope to hear a few more albums from you in the coming years. Ghosts was brilliant.
I'm a bit late but THANKS!
The vaporwave is strong with this one.
Sounds lush and the textures are gorgeous
Thanks!
That thing sounds as good as it looks wacky I'm almost sold from one video
Reminds me alot of the amazing Radikal Technologies Spectralis/Accelrator
Very deep pad sound, impressive
The way he turns those knobs....🙂
You just sold this
lovely landscapes!
This is amazing
Thanks
Beautiful sounds
Looking at this one ,as as one of my choices to replace my blofeld.
Sounds lovely
beautiful!
Love it!
great, can you share patch structure please ?
I'm sorry for the late response. I only had it for a small time to demo. I'd love one back. I can't remember how I created it.
Very lush
A year and a half later, how are you jiving with it these days?
EnCrypticon23x I had it on loan. I'd love one though. Just haven't bought one for money reasons! I think it's a superb sounding synth though.

there will be a mini version for 600 dollar
Woosh! Nice.
That's certainly a great sound but how versatile is it?

How is the built quality?
Wobbly knobs, noisy pods ...
Well built. TBH I don't have the unit, so can't remember, but it was solid.
I'm left speechless... please buy it, make a record and let me know so I can buy it and listen for hours. PS. Do you have anything in common ith Steve Morley? ;)
Hi there. Thx! I don't know a Steve in my family :-) I'd love to get one. This was a loaner.
Sounds great but is it worth the price? And how hard is it to program?

can you tell the parameters to recreate it ?
elkoktelero I’m sorry. I had the unit on loan and gave it back (with the patch in it). Lovely sounding synth.
May I ask what is pulled into the wall? some sort of line conditioner
Just some older German sockets!
I don't now,i like more the digital pads like JD-990

David, you bought it or a you a tester for Modor?
+skyreader society Testing it.
Nice but it's no Access Virus
+PorticoMono I never got on with the Virus myself. I like the sound here better, but personal taste is everything I guess. At 4 minutes it does stuff I like a lot.
why do people always need to compare? seriously. what does this have to do.with a synth that costs more than double?
PorticoMono Pair this with an Eventide H9 Max Harmonizer for killer synth artillery
Thank god it's not a virus. there already are too many of them out there.
