Great shade of green on the anthurium! I've started to use dog-eared cedar fence panels for support. Available in 4 ft and 6 ft but can be easily cut shorter. The buried portion can be treated with wood sealer but even if untreated, cedar should be good for several years. The plant stem can be taped or tied to the plank, and eventually aroids will generate their own attachment roots.

I had to cut down my beautiful fiddle today😢 he outgrew the house and I stuck him in the ground outside(I live in florida) 9 years later it reached 50feet tall and 4ft thick trunk roots lifting my patio and ran a Crack up my wall. Majestic tree and absolutely broke my heart to remove it 😢

Omgggg yes, “you’re not always saving money with the money saving option”! I’ve learned that too many times now. Not even plant related. I have to remind my husband all the time if we can’t afford the item of higher “quality” let’s not risk it on the cheaper version. Because then you end up spending more in the long run lol 😅
The real question is, how much is your time worth? If you get the least expensive option.. but it requires you to spend much more of your time to assemble it or deal with it, you might have spent 2 hours doing something that it would have cost you $5 more.. A very hard lesson to learn, but I've learned to value my time and my hourly rate goes up the older I get..😂😂. Another question I ask myself is " Is it worth my mental health? ". .. because sometimes having to put something together triggers me to the point that I will spiral for hours feeling like a failure, when I could have just bought the product already assembled for $20 more... So I guess at this age, my priorities are time and mental health, not actual price....if that makes sense😅. #48yroldepiphanys
