The lore is a little confusing, its really something that was a REALLY fun thing to be apart of as it was put together. Everything was hidden in source codes, troll games, books. It is like finding a bunch of needles in a bunch of haystacks.
9:47 they actually acknowledge the smelling issue quite a lot throughout the series, the security guard (Mike) in the first game was literally fired due to awful smell because he was a walking talking corpse at that point in the story lol. Also William Afton (the main killer) did a lot of work to preserve the bodies and slow down the spreading of the smell, so its really not that far fetched. Also thanks for the reaction, fun stuff as always! There is a new cold open for Rick and Morty for episode 2 in case you missed it :D
I mean I don't think it's confirmed he did anything to slow the smell, considering in the fnaf 2 minigames he just leaves corpses spread out across the building like it's nothing. But yeah they do address the mucus and blood seeping out of the animatronics
That was an ultra-quick recap, jumping a lot of things, yeah... But if you want another recap that is still short ( 30 min ) to learn a bit more, check the "FNAF: Everything You Need To Know (ft. MatPat)", of course, it has the ft. with MatPat himself. And when you want to check an extended version, check the "FULL TIMELINE" by MatPat. There are 4 videos that explain the lore as a whole, so you don't need to check any other video that came before by "The Game Theorists".
The lore that Ruin added is basically retconning Help Wanted. Most likely, instead of William becoming a computer virus, it's actually a completely different AI robot that mimics anything it sees, and is basically a killing machine
@@Personian Yeah, should've given the devs a little more credit. But at the same time, it changed everyone's understanding of the story on that type of level
It wasn't mentioned but the last Scott Catwhon game was Ultimate Custom Night which is basically just the final game when you can go against all the animatronics from the series. It has a cool lore reason to exists as it could be seen as William eternal punishment in hell, having to go against all the monsters he created over and over again. That's when the original story ends and in my opinion that's where the whole series would've end
If you are going to watch Matpat's timeline, one thing youll need to know going in is that it's story beats are used by matpat to create his own interpretation of the story, rather than telling the factual one (of course, its a theory channel so he doesnt know everything) and he makes mistakes, claiming some buildings suffer fates they couldn't have faced until years after when he says it happens, therefore it probably never happens to that location cause it wouldn't make sense then? (Obviously not spoiling it for Gor) but he tries his best with what knowledge he had at that time. The first three parts are the least fanfiction filled and part four goes allllll out with unconfirmed story details and some things that aren't even MENTIONED anywhere in the games or books.
@@GorTheMovieGod Yeye its why I suggested it, its the basic stuff that should get you to figure some things out with the movie with bonus lore. Also like you searching up the names cuz I had a feeling you didn’t know Mike and Vennica were actually in the movie and were characters. Fun reaction basically lol
This was pretty much just the basics. We don't know if the early deaths are in the right order and the ending for Security Breach covered in the video is no longer considered canon, but other than that it's a good surface-level summary.
There was some missing things about this video for instance in 1987 there was a new Freddy’s restaurant called Freddy Fazbears the grand reopening which lead to Jeremy being the night guard of that restaurant and he gets bitten by Mangle a fucked up animatronic causing the famous bite of 87 also Henry makes a third Freddy’s restaurant with the same old building and new animatronics and also Micheal Afton works there before going down to the sister location bunker
DO NOT WATCH THE FULL TIMELINE VIDEO BY MATPAT!!! It is mediocre at best and fan fiction at its worst. MatPat takes a ton of liberties with his later fnaf videos and to be honest they feel off most of the time.
There is just no hope for this movie being even a little good since the reviews won't be allowed up until after the movie comes out which is not a good sign
I agree it is a good video, but it's a little long and he gets some stuff wrong at multiple points, such as Remnant not being in the games when it very clearly is in both Sister Location and Fnaf 6. Other than that and a couple other things, it is a pretty good video, just a long one that I feel is drawn out longer than it needs to be.

Probably the best explanation of the lore lol
Absolutely agree

The Mimic was not a retcon lol

Now i wanna see gor watch the Henry speech, it gave me chills when it started and ended (plsss watch it gor)

That basically sums up the lore but I'd still watch a different one soon just to fill in the gaps a lil bit in between events
WOW YOU DID WATCH THIS
Like others say this does skip some things but it still gets generic things down
That's all I needed. I doubt the movie will go in depth with the lore.

Yeah listen to the Henry speech from fnaf 6

The FNAF series reminds me of the Chucky series, because of how much it changes and gets crazier with every iteration.
If you want a cohesive video about the full lore watch Wendigoon's video on the fnaf lore.
DO NOT WATCH THE FULL TIMELINE VIDEO BY MATPAT!!!

Even though there's a few inaccuracies in the video it's a good surface view of the series.

You should watch the solved fnaf timeline by brusel , he does a good job
No one gonna talk about how he can see dislikes??
It's a plug in for chrome and firefox. It's called Return the Dislike Bar or something like that.
do wendigoons fnaf timeline pls 🙏 Not matpats 😭😭

?? Matpats is good
@@MewDenise it's ok, the way he explains things is kinda silly, like how William didn't get his character in the show, or the dancing bear thing
