At my wedding; I dedicated the first chair on the bridal side to my mom. I had the chair decorated and her picture set up in the chair. At the reception, she sat right next to the cake on the center table so she could see everything. ❤
My Husbands grandfather (who raised him), died when my husband was young and we wanted to include his memory on our wedding. We got one his favorite pictures of the two of them and put it on a pedestal next to the flowers for the ceremony. I don't remember what phrase we put on it, but my husband loved it and was so appreciative of the special gesture.

They almost passed in the same exact hospital room but they moved my mom about 12 hours before she passed (I think they knew how hard that same room was on us). My son went thru this being sick for months on end we would have a week or 2 in between. He got tubes in his ears, tonsils and adenoids out, he rearly gets sick now. Maybe talk to his Dr for an ent referral, we have all been there mama... ignore the haters
Must be screen time was the best thing I ever heard...😂 it's a rough run with sickness.... I have 3 boys also and we went back to back with stomach flu pnemonia and RSV.... RSV is just terrible. Tablets are the only reason I can ever shower or get anything done really. Hope he gets better soon.

When I got married my grandmother had passed of cancer, two weeks before the my wedding. So I had seat reserved for her, my mom placed a rose in her seat when she walked down the aisle, my sister and cousin carried a rose to her seat as well, but I also had a song played for her, and while it was playing a picture of her and I was shown on the projector screen in the church. We were able to have pictures taken together, before she got really sick. I am so thankful for those pictures! While the picture and song were playing (my oldest cousin, placed her bible in the seat, and then all the roses came after.) When I walked down the aisle, I placed roses in the seat too. 😢 wish that she was there, but I am glad we were able to have her apart of our day in some way. 🥰 We also had a table in the lobby of all our family members that have passed. 😢

I know she was with me because her nickname was Hunybee and when we were outside taking pictures the biggest queen bumble bee landed on my shoulder. It was surreal.

Courtney I am so sorry that your little one keeps getting sick. I am sure you have thought of it however if you have not change his toothbrush after he is finished with his meds. Do you have a close uncle or a father in law that could dance with you? Or maybe even your Pastor. I know it's not the same, but having someone close to to you to have that dance with might be a good way to remember him.
Pictures of them are the best you can put them on 2 chairs where they would be sitting then move them to the cake or your gift table. Have a brother or uncle walk you down..
My kids have always thankfully been good at taking medicine unless it's eye drops for pink eye, then it's like wrestling a gorilla. Girl my bathrooms domr even have windows. 😅 Yes, the Citrus Green Apple is so good!
Not to add to the sas, but my son had strep and croup in the last 3 months and the doctor legitimately said when they start coughing immediately them outside so the cold air soothes their throat
