Nice video! Enjoyed all of the images, particularly the bridge and the direction thingy. You have inspired me to get out this morning with my homemade 4x5 pinhole camera and shoot something, before it gets too hot.
Great to see you out with the 4x5 again. I was wondering if the camera would stay still for that shot off the tripod. I wonder if you could set the tripod up in a way that it had 2 legs for stability and one leg pushing down on the camera to keep it in place.
thank you, yes it probably would work, I actually had a Z plate in my bag which would have supported it nicely flat, but forgot about it at the time 🙄😁
Wonderful video Will, thank you for sharing. While both cameras each have they're own advantages, it you could only use one 4x5 pinhole camera, which one would you use?
Oooh, tough decision. The ondu if I was more in the city as this is where the rise feature would benefit best, the Zero image is more flexible with the different focal lengths, so find I use this more out and about beaches etc
I usually go out with the following 4x5 inch pinhole cameras: Pinhole Distance Pinhole Size Angle-of-View f/stop 35mm equiv. 120mm .4mm 56 f/256 34mm 73mm .3mm 82 f/256 21mm 50mm .3mm 100 f/256 15mm How do the specifications for your pinhole cameras compare?
Hi sorry for the delay, having a catch up now. My Zero Image 4x5 is 25mm - 0.18mm - f/138 - Angle of View 148.35° 50mm - 0.28mm - f/176 - Angle of View 120.99° 75mm - 0.35mm - f/2.6.5 - Angle of View 99.35° The ONDU is 58mm - 0.3mm - f/193 - Angle of View of 106°
@@WillGudgeon Thanks for the useful information. After adjusting my horizontal angle-of-view to match your diagonal angle-of-view, I was pleased that the specifications for my 4x5 inch do-it-yourself pinhole cameras were very similar to your name-brand cameras.
@@pixelpeter3883 I do enjoy using it, hopefully going to be using it more, I do enjoy making timelapses but don't always stop long enough while I am out to make one 😁
@@WillGudgeon When there is little wind you'll need plenty of time to get a half decent timelapse. More wind, faster moving clouds and shorter intervals will make it easier when you're on the go :-)
Nice video as usual Will, and what a zen music in background!😊
Thank you, thought it may add something chill to the video 😁
Great photos!! My favorite is the vertical image of the river.
Thank you Garon 👍
lovely! :)
it's nice to see your world through a pinhole camera! :)
Thank you Sina, glad you like it 😁
Another great video and well done on braving those killer sheep.
Thank you, they will get me one day 😉😆

Thank you Philip, glad it inspired you to get out 🙂
Love the bridge shot and the last one when the camera tipped over! Such a beautiful area :)
Thank you, it is a beautiful location.
I was surprised how well that last one turned out 😁
All the images were pleasing. My favourite images were the old bridge and the clump of grass/reeds on the edge of the river.
Thank you, glad you like them Saalik 🙂
You've sold me on the Ondu. My next purchase after I get back from my Edinburgh trip.
you won't regret it :)

Did I spot there a timelapse on an eggtimer (or the likes)?
Yes, its my GoPro on a TurnsPro, a posh egg timer 😆, unfortunately was a bit windy and making it wobble a bit, and most the clouds had disappeared
@@WillGudgeon Ohh cool, got one of those too; it's very versatile :-)
