  • One last Utah adventure before I leave!
    After getting a knock on my door from the sheriff kicking me off all public lands in Kane county Utah, I packed up and hit the road. However, I decided to stop for one last adventure. I pulled over at the Sand Caves just north of Kanab. This was a super cool spot for a farewell.
    NO MIDROLL ADS!!!

    It seems to me that you've done so much to highlight the beauty of Utah (and drive tourism there), that it's extra crappy of them to force you to leave the camping and wild areas. I think they should have given you natural Utah ambassador status, complete with ID, to keep doing what you're doing. Very short-sighted of them. Even on your way out, you still post gorgeous videos beneficial to the state. I think they owe you big-time. You are a top notch class act, Bex. You don't get anywhere near the credit due you. Wish I could change that. Peace, love, safety, good health, and happiness to you.

    It’s pretty ironic they put a Highway next to the serene First Nations peoples caves of long ago . They ruined the serenity of the ruins for ever . Thank you for the incredible video . Beautiful caves , wonderful place to live , long ,long ,long , time ago .

    Thank you for hiking up there. That was fun. Hope your feeling better. Looks Like there starting to open Camp Grounds & State parks in Eurika Mo. It would be nice to buy a small piece of land, in a few states. You were looking sexy going up that hill.
    Be careful, Keep up the Quality Videos.

    WOW, I could have spent all day in the caves, marveling at wondrous nature. Or maybe camp in there for a week or two; long enough to convince myself that it's real, not an etherial dream. Look at those swirl patterns on the ceiling! Bless you, good woman, for not having mid-roll ads. The serenity of the photography, together with the serenity of the music, really touched my heart. I cried as you drove away from that place; can't imagine how you feel. I'd have been white-knuckling the steering wheel trying to keep it together. I'm hoping you have already found a place to stay that soothes your soul. Looking forward to your next video. Good health and happiness to you.

    Thank you for introducing me to yet another wonderful place. It's too bad people feel the need to deface those beautiful cave walls. It also sad that you have to be evicted by the government exercising their strong arm against our freedoms. Our forefathers would never have gone for that. What you and many others are doing has no effect on spreading any kind of virus or sickness, so it's all about control. Stay safe and keep those beautiful videos coming......Russell D.

    When you looked out through one of the cave entrances you could see the valley floor & directly across more cave entrances. This was an anthropological journey into a time when a stone aged village was here who moved up & down the hillsides come hell or high water, literally. Thank you for the exploration.

    That was awesome! I fell in love with Utah when I went 15 years ago. I am seeing more and more things to see and places to visit. How are Ren and Kandi? I haven't seen them in your videos for a while. I hope they are both doing well during all this and hope Kandi is still enjoying her little red barn. You take care and I can't wait to see where you go next. Safe travels!

      Utah is beautiful!! Ren and Kandi are both fine and hunkering down in different places in southwest AZ. As I don't have air conditioning, it's far too hot for me. But I enjoy their company whenever we can get together. I usually hang out with friends for a while and then go my own way. Can't really work on videos with friends around as I would rather be with them than work. So I have to limit myself. :-D

    Greetings from Willow, Alaska, I found your video when you got evicted, sorry about that.Come to Alaska, you won't get evicted anywhere because, you can camp anywhere. Why must we indelibly leave our mark on all of the beautiful places of the natural world? Can't we just be and enjoy it for what it is and preserve it for others to experience as nature intended? Rhetorically speaking, so stop typing and just think about it next time...

    That "graffiti" you see on the walls will be considered pictographs or petroglyphs in a few hundred years. Both are nothing more or less than defacing the rock face, separated by time.

    • @hippydippy
      @hippydippy 4 года назад +1

      That's exactly what I was thinking. I actually thought it was pretty cool.

    • @furlvr1961
      @furlvr1961 4 года назад

      @@hippydippy People get so bent out of shape for others etching their names or other things into the rock, especially if they do it over other graffiti that has been there 500 years. While I think seeing the petroglyphs and pictographs from hundreds or a few thousand years ago is awesome and enjoy it, personally... and am NOT advocating the old stuff be ruined! It is still nothing different than those that left their marks etched into the rock faces many years before!!!

    This is not an easy place to visit. Wife and I tried it last year. We made it about half way and we were turned back by the difficult climb. There had been some rain and the wet sand on the rock surface made the climb kinda sketchy. Be careful. Oh, BTW, wife was 62, I'm 11 years her senior. Maybe that had something to do with it!

    who built the sand caves? do you notice wear and tear up on that are from over use by people coming to the area? those who write on the walls are contributing to the destruction and maybe the parks will shut public access off. What would be interesting is to have you tell some of the scary events that have happened or almost happened to you in your travels on the road. Like going to to any places that are scary or maybe you were out in the desert and saw or heard something that did not just feel right.
