Hated the 89 Batmobile when the movie came out ,I grew up with the 66 Batmobile and iconic intro to the tv show but the 89 has grown on me over the years so I now have it my diecast collection but the 66 still dominates

Just ordered the 2003 hotwheels 1/18 batmobile for $84 shipped but I agree the Jada 1/24 for $20 shipped on Amazon is the best deal you can get even comes with a Batman figure
A $25 dollar mark up with free shipping isn't bad considering the model is nearly 20 years old. Sounds like you got a decent deal to me. I hope you are happy with it.
I collect all Batmobiles the 66 289 the Batmobile tumbler and if you really want to complete your collection you need to have the hot toys version of the 1989 Batmobile it's 1/6 scale and right now the going price if you can find it is about $1,300
Great review, I love this model (I got it too). Other than the bat-penis turbine component, one thing I don’t get are the two black dots in the headlights. It’s not a show stopper but they do feel a bit jarring. I noticed they removed them for the 1992 Batman Returns reissue (other than that I think it’s basically the same model).

The Jada version is my favorite just because of the $20 price point, and the fact that the wheels and tires are pretty accurate, plus the mini figure.
