  • In this segment, we use the First and Second Tds relationships (also known as Gibbs Equations) that we derived in the previous segment and derive an equation for Entropy Change of Liquids and Solids. We also solve an example problem that shows the entropy change of a solid and a liquid, as well as entropy generation for the entire system.     So when do you use the mass and when do you not use it in the equation? Only when it’s given in the problem?
