Try my poison cremation build! It's very cheap to start 3x teal maps and with little investment you can do twist of fate all mods corrupted. Alternatively hexblast, ignite EK, fulcrum chieftain are good builds for the content.
@@omegaseptagon5708 try the annoints that give you meteor towers create burning ground and freeze towers freeze enemies for 2 seconds on your rings. Put a seismic and freeze next to each other, and then fire and minion towers for the rest and for the most part you won't have any issues. If you have a freeze immune lane make a stone gaze tower and that will solve the problem. Also annoints your maps with amber oils to bring the cost of towers down. Cassia's pride is also huge for early blighted maps when your build isn't capable of clearing mobs quickly. Hope this helps
Love all the documentation. I screwed up this league and made a build that doesn't clear Ravaged Blight maps very well so I'll have to reroll after spending 50 div on it
I feel your pain, my build was nerf hammered to the ground, Poison Cremation (new build) dps was nerfed by 70%, took me two weeks to test new changes and find out way for it to do all mods Twist of Fate. But i'm finally happy with this build, we have lots of flexibility and still some room for more QoL/DPS at pretty decent budget (except for awakened gems but I don't think DPS comes from it rather 300% inc first poison which we can stack beyond 900%)
Definitely not the most optimized player cause I like keeping my smaller currencies (jewels/fusing), and selling only the big ticket items/oils. Gonna try the cheaper oil setup and see if it works out better. Sort of gave up blight ravaged due to bad rng on maps with loot vs cost. Again probably cause I don't sell everything that drops. It is nuts, but that's for a reason, I don't think GGG will invert that so we gotta adapt to new meta. Let's see where this all leads to, maybe we can have better profits with non golden oil now than we had with golden oil in previous leagues? Time will tell
@@RavagedBlightScience In theory it wouldn't be that bad if the scarab for blight ravaged maps would work. Keeping the price for those down by constant supply would mean less efficient ways of running them would become more viable. Sadly they don't even acknowledge that the scarab is bugged
I tried running a few SSSBBBOOO rolled to 90+ quant mods and the loot still felt like it was lackluster for the price. Silver are 50c each and the maps are 40c each. Maps burning over a divine each to not get any big drops back is rough. I tried BBBVVVOOO, and the chance for extra chests felt more worth it with wayyyy less invested per map
So honestly oils never been that pricy but silver oil adds a lot of loot. Im off for a week but try to calculate cost and dump like loot from 10 maps to quad tab, calculate cost and see how it looks. It would be sad day for ravaged maps if investing more and taking more risk punished you.. We've been there for a brief time few leagues ago but ggg deployed hotfix.. I hope you're not right..

@@ohayjude That's often mistake people make. Don't look just at costs, it doesn't tell you anything. Oils are up but so are SDs, valdo's boxes, divine orbs. Check my spreadsheet for loot distribution and you'll see that's correlated. Every league it's sort of the same story, however this league we see highest prices of oils ever because GGG treats blight-ravaged maps as something they have to live with but it would be much easier just to remove it from the game. So for past 6 leagues they haven't done a single change to blight-ravaged content and when they change something, they never think if that hurts or helps blight enjoyers. They just do it regardless.
2 questions. How is the gold in ravaged maps? I was farming t16s at the start doing 3 amber and I was getting 6k ish gold then finally got geared enough for 3 teal and I was barely getting 1k. Felt bad giving up on my city and basically being excluded from the in game trade system. So I just do in map blight and gave up on blighted maps. Other question is how had the base items drop been. I was thinking ravaged would be good for finding 86 of the new top tier bases hopefully with more then 20 quality since those are going for tens of divines unsplit. Love all the info as always.
I'm getting 20k to 30k per t14+ map with some added increased rarity on gear and a gold flask. This does also include scarabs that add packs, specifically magic/blue packs if you juice your maps they drop the most gold, then uniques, the rares. Do this for 10 maps and you should have enough gold to ignore the town for a whole day, or more.
@@epyjacek Since you said scarabs guessing you are talking about normal maps. I make find gold in those but my town is over 60k an hour run cost. So I know I could bulk up gold but then I just get the itch to reroll for more level 10 followers lol.
Yeah I've been explaining it bit here bit there over last 9 leagues, but I see that there are many new players to the game and content, when I'm back i'll try to do some comprehensive guide. Also my strategy is quite specific because it targets top end right away which requires having specific build, but i'll try to do something to explain basics. There's ton of blight/blight-ravaged guides out there for beginners, starting from lolcohol/zizarian so make sure to watch these!

If you have a freeze immune lane use a stone gaze tower(left side of seismic tower upgrade) and that solves the problem for the most part. Only towers you really need and in order of importance are freeze, seismic, fire, minion, and empower. For maps layouts with tight corridors are preferred... But if you have the ring annoints it's almost impossible to fail as long as you pay attention. Cassia's pride node in your atlas helps with early blighted maps due to the huge buff to tower damage. And anointing your maps with 3 ambers is a great way to ensure that you have enough money to buy all the towers you will need to complete the map. Pretty hard to lose the map with this strategy.

Is there a budget variant? The oils you suggest to use are worth about an entire divine total, and it's a bit scary to run that since it's entirely possible to get dry spells on any strategy.
So problem with less investment is that map costs like 30c each so running cheaper oils will not compensate for that in similar manner. But remember that you don't always need to play in most optimal way, you can do what you find most suited for you. If risking div + map is not something you enjoy and you're not wealthy enough to buy 10 maps upfront, then try something cheaper. Anything should be profitable but myself I spend my limited time only to seek for most optimal strategies since it's just too much to test every possible combination every league.

I tried your strategy last night with my friend and I spent about 4 divs worth of oils on my maps with no oil drops above opalescent. It did not feel very good. I find that using triple violet/black & whatever other three I want works fine for me.

But just to understand what's the message here is that what I suggest is the most you can get out of ravageds in terms of profit/h. So the most important thing for everyone to understand is that doing whatever you feel feasible and you're having fun it's the best thing for you, so don't force yourself if it doesn't feel right to you. I'm just diving into what's possible and what's more optimal around blight-ravageds. Every league things change and it takes bit time to understand the impact of changes, for the last few leagues GSSSOOTTT or GGSSSOTTT were more than 30% more profitable than the second best strategy. Now in 3.25 its no longer true and it will take some time and runs to get the right answers, especially that i'm off for a week now. But i'm pretty confident going SSSOBBTTT you're not losing currency, you're running most optimal or very close to most optimal strategy. Of course you can't be losing encounters, this is why I spent 2 weeks of this league testing and updating my build guide for the content, because without that nothing else matters. Now since my new build and build guides are ready i'll be focusing on economy when im back.
So currently it's worth to run Twist of Fate corrupted maps, because it can roll 1-3 implicits and it randomizes the map, so you can't have guaranteed layout with this strategy and it can roll up to 450% increased quant on your map. But for early game and non corrupted strategy i'd target defiled cathedral for extra apothecary drop chance and split it with fractured fossil to lower the cost. Unfortunately it's bit more expensive and supply is kinda low, it was much better last two leagues. Try to find closed layout, temple, necropolis, whatever has walls that decrease number of possible lanes.
Seen a few of these div per hour videos. When people calculate the profits, is this items that have sold or just hypothetical if you sold everything? Feel like a lot of filler is in there that sits for ages like item bases
So if you go to my spreadsheet, there are tabs on the left side with strategy comparison, you'll see items listed and sorted by value. You can easily spot that more than half of the loot comes just in few items, others you sell in bulk on TFT. But regarding div/h, like I mentioned, my analysis and spreadsheet has only one goal - to find out best blight ravaged strategy. I'm not trying to convince anyone to play blight ravaged maps. If you already decided, there's no difference between different strategies you need to handle loot anyway. So the only difference is how much you make per hour with different oils and stuff and this is what I try to discover here. So sure, playing sanctum will get you raw divines in same or better div/h ratio etc. etc. But i'm not trying to prove here that blight-ravaged is better than simu or sanctum. are you running 8 mods only? never tried blight before, do you annoint first and then corrupt? i assume you can't ToF unless your build can do all mods?
Yeah you shouldn't be doing ToF if you can't do all mods. So in 3.24 they changed how tof works, I've done full corrupted test with 400 maps completed and compared with 4,5,6,8 mods and tof to see how's the profit different, then it was better to roll maps and run 5,6,8 mods and tof only 4 and low rolled 5 mods. Now I need to repeat but tof rolls implicit mods which add a lot to iiq and iir so I think it might be different and we don't need to roll maps just corrupt them and save 8 mods while running everything else as tof

@@eNoqfOu poison cremation Is cheap and works but it's just for that, imo better for league start than mid league swap. Fulcrum Chieftain does this as well and is more all rounder but i don't have pob or guide for it. Hexblast should deal with it as well, not sure about all mods though
Im satisfied with blighted maps, drops me raw divines too. Tried blight ravaged map that i got from blighted map and go with triple amber and the one that slows enemy down and another is tower increased damage. Its easier to think, and i can spam towers everywhere. Though i sometimes die when trying to put towers.
Yeah defenses are very important. I had so much better times with my previous build with max block on necro and aegis, it was almost immortal and you could face tank simulacrum 30 bosses and do blight ravageds towerless. But that build is dead. Now I use petrified blood with elusive and 60% evasion + increased max res, endurance charges and lightning coil and I still die. Blight ravaged maps aren't easy and you lose currency on losing encounter this is why I believe targeting it with right build is required.
I only play blighted map when I’m tired so I can build for 2-3 minutes and afk to rest a bit. So I never use Teal oil, what’s the best replacement would you say if not using 3 teals?
@RavagedBlightScience just tried on toxic sewers ravaged with the specified best annoints and it worked, but I def can only run sewers or carcass with my current DPS lul, good thing is the build is basically immortal
anyone knows what are the best 3 oils for non-ravaged blighted maps? should I go 3 teal to farm them faster or 3 of something else (maybe crimson) for more ravaged maps? I wanna farm ravaged maps from normal blighted maps cuz they are super expensive :c

Actually I watched it again so black doubles rewards regardless of chest type which is why on average is better cause doubling a double can result in divs (at least that`s what I`ve gotten out of this).
More or less, simply put opals will apply randomly to chests for the number specified, but a black will apply the bonus to every single chest. Black does not guarantee number like opal, but you have a much higher potential for good drops.
So black is small golden, it gives a chance for additional reward. I explained how golden oil works and how it creates more t1 rewards. So it's the same but less effective
Yeah well I make videos mostly for my community which I build slowly over years, so I don't explain all basics in every video. Twist of fate change in 3.24 makes the outcome to add implicits to the map and increase item quantity to maximum of like 450% and corrupting maps unlocks us tainted oil as a reward. That together makes loot bit better but I still need to compare if 8mods aren't better so that perhaps the optimal way is to corrupt maps, run 8mods only and use twist of fate for everything else.
@@ZildoghUNTER While Apothecary can drop from any chest, its most likely it will drop from a pump. I think up to 3.23 you could drop any div card from the chest regardless of map layout. Ever since its just stacked decks and layout natural drops
I tried one map with silvers, yes almost 400% quant is insane, but I could not finish the map and failed it. my spectre build is not enough or I just might be too slow. Any way to implement some cheaper towers oils?
I had similar issues with previous iteration basing explosions on bane/hexbloom and applying punishment. My current iteration works much better. I also disabled sound in config file and play on lowest specs. Other than clearing mobs before they cap your memory/cpu I have no solution to that. It's 10+ years old game optimization is poor :P
@@drinfam turn down your sound settings. I know that seems ridiculous but trust me. Not the volume. The quality. Also set up dynamic culling and dynamic resolution. For the most part this has made it acceptable
i used to farm ravaged blight maps all previous leagues with no issues but now normal blight at times give me 1 fps i cant imagine doing ravaged blight now i don´t know if the game is lagier now or how it happened but im sure many doesn´t try just because of the lag and fps issues.
Just a warning for people trying to copy.. doing this will feel not like POE. It lags down to 30 fps and things will randomly one shot u off map out of your control.
So if you watch my hour long gameplay video it's recorded with rtx 2070 super and i7-9700k which isn't top end hardware. Some builds like dd are super bad for performance, my latest version of poison cremation is very smooth and doesn't lag too much at maximum juice and pack size.
I dont know about blight ravaged. I have 50+ milions uber dps ice shot and some rare and boss mobs in blight ravaged maps are literally immortal. From my perspective this mobs have several billions hps. And fucking oneshots off screen are insane
Your build needs to have good defensive layers and a lot of dps and penetration. Im pretty sure 15m dps is enough to deal with the non corrupted maps, can't say anything about your build but there are plenty options to deal with the content easily, ignite ek, hexblast, poison cremation and I think best this league fulcrum chieftain
If u want real profit, just do Expedition, with tujen. I love rng with Tujen, always cheap chaos and vaals, chissels, exs, annulments, and sometimes divines, with a chance to get mirrors.

LMK when you finish your first 100. But seriously, loot varies a lot, but there's no way you lost money while doing SSSOBBTTT xD Never made less than 200c and now with SDs up in price and golden oil at 140 the average drop per 10 maps is like 4-4.5k which means you make like 200c each map on average. That's large sample data vs 'i've done 4 maps and I say so'

Yeah tell that ggg not me, this is currently what you get from currency drops. Then flasks, jewels early on bases and chance to drop sg. Blight ravaged never was best profit content and it's kinda weird cuz you risk all rewards. Im just messenger.

I get more gold oils doing blightheart scarabs in t16 maps with blight encounters. Faster runs, map loot rng, and blight nodes that can be reopened.

Tier doesn't matter for loot it's only layout. All maps are ilvl 85.

@@IMBATABLE38 cost is king personally. Although maps with tight corridors are typically easier to successfully complete.
So currently it's worth to run Twist of Fate corrupted maps, because it can roll 1-3 implicits and it randomizes the map, so you can't have guaranteed layout with this strategy and it can roll up to 450% increased quant on your map.
But for early game and non corrupted strategy i'd target defiled cathedral for extra apothecary drop chance and split it with fractured fossil to lower the cost. Unfortunately it's bit more expensive and supply is kinda low, it was much better last two leagues.
Try to find closed layout, temple, necropolis, whatever has walls that decrease number of possible lanes.
Seen a few of these div per hour videos. When people calculate the profits, is this items that have sold or just hypothetical if you sold everything? Feel like a lot of filler is in there that sits for ages like item bases
So if you go to my spreadsheet, there are tabs on the left side with strategy comparison, you'll see items listed and sorted by value. You can easily spot that more than half of the loot comes just in few items, others you sell in bulk on TFT.
But regarding div/h, like I mentioned, my analysis and spreadsheet has only one goal - to find out best blight ravaged strategy.
I'm not trying to convince anyone to play blight ravaged maps. If you already decided, there's no difference between different strategies you need to handle loot anyway. So the only difference is how much you make per hour with different oils and stuff and this is what I try to discover here. So sure, playing sanctum will get you raw divines in same or better div/h ratio etc. etc. But i'm not trying to prove here that blight-ravaged is better than simu or sanctum.
But to get a glance how to sell loot more effectively i've recorded a video long time ago on this topic. I should update but at least it's something that gives you perspective.

are you running 8 mods only? never tried blight before, do you annoint first and then corrupt? i assume you can't ToF unless your build can do all mods?
Yeah you shouldn't be doing ToF if you can't do all mods.
So in 3.24 they changed how tof works, I've done full corrupted test with 400 maps completed and compared with 4,5,6,8 mods and tof to see how's the profit different, then it was better to roll maps and run 5,6,8 mods and tof only 4 and low rolled 5 mods. Now I need to repeat but tof rolls implicit mods which add a lot to iiq and iir so I think it might be different and we don't need to roll maps just corrupt them and save 8 mods while running everything else as tof

@@eNoqfOu poison cremation Is cheap and works but it's just for that, imo better for league start than mid league swap.
Fulcrum Chieftain does this as well and is more all rounder but i don't have pob or guide for it.
Hexblast should deal with it as well, not sure about all mods though
Im satisfied with blighted maps, drops me raw divines too. Tried blight ravaged map that i got from blighted map and go with triple amber and the one that slows enemy down and another is tower increased damage. Its easier to think, and i can spam towers everywhere. Though i sometimes die when trying to put towers.
Yeah defenses are very important. I had so much better times with my previous build with max block on necro and aegis, it was almost immortal and you could face tank simulacrum 30 bosses and do blight ravageds towerless. But that build is dead.
Now I use petrified blood with elusive and 60% evasion + increased max res, endurance charges and lightning coil and I still die.
Blight ravaged maps aren't easy and you lose currency on losing encounter this is why I believe targeting it with right build is required.
Is there any difference between a Tier 14 and a Tier 16 Blight-Ravaged Map?

I only play blighted map when I’m tired so I can build for 2-3 minutes and afk to rest a bit. So I never use Teal oil, what’s the best replacement would you say if not using 3 teals?
I haven't tested it but possibly 1 gold 3 silver 3 opal 2 black or 3 silver 3 opal 3 black

It's what I want to test but I think optimal strat will be just alch anoint vaal, separate 8mods and tof everything else.

@RavagedBlightScience just tried on toxic sewers ravaged with the specified best annoints and it worked, but I def can only run sewers or carcass with my current DPS lul, good thing is the build is basically immortal
anyone knows what are the best 3 oils for non-ravaged blighted maps? should I go 3 teal to farm them faster or 3 of something else (maybe crimson) for more ravaged maps? I wanna farm ravaged maps from normal blighted maps cuz they are super expensive :c
At those prices you're best of running 3x crimson and corrupt maps enabling twist of fate on the Atlas

Pardon my ignorance but why black instead of opalescent? I believe you did explain but it wasn`t clear for me.
Actually I watched it again so black doubles rewards regardless of chest type which is why on average is better cause doubling a double can result in divs (at least that`s what I`ve gotten out of this).
More or less, simply put opals will apply randomly to chests for the number specified, but a black will apply the bonus to every single chest. Black does not guarantee number like opal, but you have a much higher potential for good drops.
So black is small golden, it gives a chance for additional reward. I explained how golden oil works and how it creates more t1 rewards. So it's the same but less effective

Yeah well I make videos mostly for my community which I build slowly over years, so I don't explain all basics in every video.
Twist of fate change in 3.24 makes the outcome to add implicits to the map and increase item quantity to maximum of like 450% and corrupting maps unlocks us tainted oil as a reward. That together makes loot bit better but I still need to compare if 8mods aren't better so that perhaps the optimal way is to corrupt maps, run 8mods only and use twist of fate for everything else.

I think up to 3.23 you could drop any div card from the chest regardless of map layout. Ever since its just stacked decks and layout natural drops

I tried one map with silvers, yes almost 400% quant is insane, but I could not finish the map and failed it. my spectre build is not enough or I just might be too slow. Any way to implement some cheaper towers oils?
Add 2x amber instead of teal. Slower but you can build meteor tower with burning ground ring anointment. But that's gonna be 6-7div /h

I really want to try this strategy, but for some reason my poe lags when a lot of mobs spawn. It drops from 100 fps to 10. I don't know what to do?
I had similar issues with previous iteration basing explosions on bane/hexbloom and applying punishment.
My current iteration works much better. I also disabled sound in config file and play on lowest specs. Other than clearing mobs before they cap your memory/cpu I have no solution to that. It's 10+ years old game optimization is poor :P
@@drinfam turn down your sound settings. I know that seems ridiculous but trust me. Not the volume. The quality. Also set up dynamic culling and dynamic resolution. For the most part this has made it acceptable
switching to dx12 fixed blight issues for me last league and still no issues this one

i used to farm ravaged blight maps all previous leagues with no issues but now normal blight at times give me 1 fps i cant imagine doing ravaged blight now i don´t know if the game is lagier now or how it happened but im sure many doesn´t try just because of the lag and fps issues.

I think the real barrier for most people with blight maps is computer FPS
Just a warning for people trying to copy.. doing this will feel not like POE. It lags down to 30 fps and things will randomly one shot u off map out of your control.

Some builds like dd are super bad for performance, my latest version of poison cremation is very smooth and doesn't lag too much at maximum juice and pack size.
I dont know about blight ravaged. I have 50+ milions uber dps ice shot and some rare and boss mobs in blight ravaged maps are literally immortal. From my perspective this mobs have several billions hps. And fucking oneshots off screen are insane
Your build needs to have good defensive layers and a lot of dps and penetration.
Im pretty sure 15m dps is enough to deal with the non corrupted maps, can't say anything about your build but there are plenty options to deal with the content easily, ignite ek, hexblast, poison cremation and I think best this league fulcrum chieftain

Only made profit from 1 map so far
The rest are all losses
Silver and gold oils are too expensive rn to make profit from running any of those strats
Need to rely on using cheaper oils on blight ravaged to keep the costs down

But seriously, loot varies a lot, but there's no way you lost money while doing SSSOBBTTT xD Never made less than 200c and now with SDs up in price and golden oil at 140 the average drop per 10 maps is like 4-4.5k which means you make like 200c each map on average. That's large sample data vs 'i've done 4 maps and I say so'
