Informative video, thank you. I have one of those autool smoke machines, it was cheap and does very well but does need shop air hookup. That's one thing people looking for a machine should note. Some, like your tool, come with their own air pumps but these tend to be pricier. Also, the bladder accessory is so darn useful. I used it on an air intake hose to find a vacuum leak.

I bought the ancel s3000, does it produce too much pressure to damage anything?

That's a high end scanner. I have an Autel 808s and it doesn't seem to have purge valve control 😢 for Honda/Acura. There's got to be a way to manually override it I'm sure. Will need to do more research. Buddy's car threw an EVAP code and this will be my first time using a smoke machine (replaced gas cap cleared codes and they came back a few miles down the road). When I was younger I was an apprentice mechanic, worked mainly on brakes, ABS, suspension, drivetrain and alignments, starting/charging and obviously oil/fluid, drain/fill/flushes. I fixed his coolant leak with some stop leak and did a compression test at 13-15 psi and it held so made a little cash. Just trying to get back into mechanics as a side hustle, more so than just brakes/suspension/fluid changes. Thanks for the info I bought this Ancel 300 for 89 bucks on a sale on TEMU so I pulled the trigger.
