Hi Kat! Welcome to flosstube. I have been stitching for over 50 years and still love it in its many forms. I am currently about 60% through my first Ink Circles (Reflections of Canada) and am loving it. It is hard to put down and I have another one (Spotted Owls) that I am anxious to start. Love the threads you use - the variegation is gorgeous.

I am a new subscriber because of Camthestitcher. Don't feel bad about not sewing because I don't sew either and I ordered my bags just like you from Amazon and I love mine. I am 65 years old & I am retired so I can not spend tons of money on my crafts either but I do have about 15 WIPS started. I have all my floss on Bobbins. I am going to try 20-count aida cloth for my Summer Quaker in August for my birthday start and it calls for 1 strand over 1 and I never worked with 1 strand before and I never worked tent stitch before so I give you credit for trying that out. I also give you credit for doing a full coverage. At my age I don't think I could start one because I would never be able to finish it. I am surprised you don't do the parking method with Pattern Keeper. That would really drive me nuts. Happy Stitching.
Thank you for the comment! Cam is great. I dont park my threads because I hold my qsnap while I work so I can end my threads very easily by turning the project over. So I will just pick a color and ride the thread out until it has to be cut or naturally runs out, that way I don't have a bunch of threads hanging on the front.

Your first floss tube was very good. Hope you enjoy this venture your starting, Amazon sells many project bags. Some are better than others. What Amazon seller projects did you pick and the size you picked? I do not use bobbins I use floss bags. I personally do not count stitches and it is not important to me to know how many. I just look at what I have done or what someone else’s looks like the next time they show their project. Good luck with flosstube.
I had to laugh when you were talking about books and moving. I just can't make myself get rid of my books and we moved across country twice in 3 years and each time most of our boxes were my books. I agree 0 out of 10 but I just don't learn my lesson! Glad I am not alone!
Congrats on your first flosstube! Love seeing all your progress and your octopi amigurumi. I used to make and sell amigurumi, but now I only make them as gifts. I wonder if you need glasses for your motion sickness. As a child I always got sick in vehicles. Turned out I was nearsighted and needed glasses 😅 Can't wait for another video. I like to read all kinds of things, true crime books, Sci fi, mystery, historical fiction, biographies, fantasy... I tend to bounce around depending on my mood. Thank you for the giggle about the Red Queen 👸🏻 😂
A belated welcome to Flosstube! As a newbie myself I know how hard it can be to jump in so congrats 🎉 Second I'm clearly a bit behind on Instagram, I'd never seen the fat is not a bad word chart but I'm in love. 😍 I also push & pull with one hand and stitch with q-snaps so I get the slower struggle. I just can't fathom doing it another way. Your variegated flosses are astounding. I'm not a big monochromatic stitcher but I could be if I pulled it off like you do. I love your little physical WIPGO board. Must be fun to highlight them when complete. I also had to know which pronunciation was correct and now standardley say octopuses cause I think it's funnier. Your lil ones are so cute!

I’m so excited you posted! I’ll be typing out a running comment/Stream of consciousness. 😂 Because otherwise I’ll post ten! I LOVE your finishes. They are gorgeous. Whenever someone says ASMR it makes me think Aasimar and I giggle. Don’t make the projects jealous! We’ll need to get you all the project bags to share the love. You can absolutely put any project on any fabric. You know why? Because you can buy more! When I do my videos I lay my projects on top of their project bags. That way I’m not stopping to put everything away, but it also keeps the stuff together. Counting is hard. Frixon pens are AMAZING. Animals will always interrupt stitching. It’s inevitable. Never stop singing. It’s like Kitschy WIPs. Love it when she sings during her videos. I’ve not seen the witches dancing before. Need! Ahh. More ink circles. Totally shocked! I also fangirl over Cam often even though I talk to her all the time. lol. Good luck with extreme cross country! I usually just puddle jump. 😂 Your editing was wonderful. I do not have any fancy project baga either using some of the bags you got too. I wonder where did you get that thing you put around your frames would love to see if I can get some too to protect my works

When I do my videos I lay my projects on top of their project bags. That way I’m not stopping to put everything away, but it also keeps the stuff together.

I can both pronounce and spell your name since I am Danish and it is a normal Danish name, it is a very good beginning so I am on follow. I do not have any fancy project baga either using some of the bags you got too. I wonder where did you get that thing you put around your frames would love to see if I can get some too to protect my works
