    You hit the nail on the when you said depression makes you think a future isn't even possible for you. Knowing that other people have gone through that exact same hell and made it through to the other side, gives me a little bit of hope for myself ♡

    Just found this. I was diagnosed with CPTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, persistent and major depressive disorder and sensory processing disorder. Not to mention slipped disks and sciatica and chronic pain. This is from lifelong abuse up until I was 22. These videos are very relatable and the way you talked to yourself and handled your depression was very inspiring and helped remind me of a lot of things I lose sight of often. I beat myself up for not being as able to do life as others and it is so hard to remember that other people not dealing with this don't understand that I'm doing really well if I even get out of bed. Your videos spread awareness and realistic healthy ways to deal with depression so thank you for being vulnerable.

    I totally empathize with the concept of looking down on others. I looked down on people struggling with simple symptoms of a bad mental health especially if I thought they had no 'real problems'.
    Ultimately, it was my own experience with depression that taught me the empathy I needed to treat others with gentleness and kindness.

    Man, after a severe clinical depression now i look back at those days its scary to think i wish turn back those dark toughts. Its never completely gone. I was enjoying to think deep all i did overthink day to night it makes u feel intelligent and thinking the way out is death. I was suicidal and i think i kinda attempted. Slowly overcome, now i go gym train hard, study what i want to study. Still i don't get old enjoyments but we are strugglers we have to endure suffering and try to live, if u really have crappy life end of the day u can tell yourself despite all those pain i endured i keep trying to live. Thats badass to think.

    As someone who has struggled with depression on a consistent basis for a large portion of my life, I remember feeling so seen when you posted that first video. For the first time in my life I didn’t feel foreign or weird. Logically I know that thousands of people struggle with depression everyday but it was so different seeing someone I had found a light in also going through darkness. I am so incredibly grateful for you Kati, you have no idea. It takes great courage to bare your soul in this way, especially in this world that we live in. Thank you. Love you lots and keeping you in my prayers. ❤

    When I watched the first video, I sobbed so hard because I was experiencing exactly the same thing but I was in denial of my reality-that things are not okay, I’m not feeling okay and I can’t see a future where I could feel happy with myself. It would be beautiful to say that I’m okay now, but I’m not. I’m still feeling this and I genuinely don’t see a time where I can be better. Watching this video has given me a small hope that maybe it’ll be okay someday. ❤️

    There are two types of depression: Situational vs Chronic.
    Situational depression is the set of circumstances that makes you depressed. ( Job loss, poverty, etc etc) no pills will help. You need to change the set of circumstances.Cbronic depression is something that u only pills can help, as it due to a chemical imbalance in your brain.

    There is no fruit to reap from the suffering of such events as watching people around you pass away, or watching your mother slowly succumb to the awfulness that is Alzheimer's. As such, the suffering usually gets worse as you age. I can no longer think of the good things that have happened, though remembering them would be pointless because those times are gone. The temporal nature of existence is both a blessing and a curse.

    I hate to say this, but depression in women is very overdiagnosed.
    Your brain chemistry is not the problem and neither is the neuroplasticity. You just need to fix your habits and lifestyle, women have a very resilient brain, in fact more resilient compared to males due to their higher estrogen levels. If you're on BC, thats likely causing your depression.

  • @nebulaina508
    @nebulaina508 4 месяца назад

    this will pass delete footage of you crying it doesn't help, you don't have to show everyone all stages of your depression you deal with it take time to yourself and learn to be happy on your own and continue to work on self, i said delete posts of crying videos in future because another girl did that and she realized recording herself sad and constantly talking about it and not fixing it wasn't helping and if your fixing it continue and don't document it for us to c everyone depressed and doing it behind closed doors helps you heal sit with yourself and post what has been helping and what you have been doing about it. Also, I was depressed, and pills don't solve everything you became depressed from thoughts not from you taking a pill so i think you should think your way to health by healing trauma with self or others and you won't need to pay for a chemical to help you. if people can't drink their way to happiness, then i don't think you should put chemicals, incents and teas to solve a MENTAL issue.e to be happy delete

    this made me look back last year (2022) it was a really hard year for me since i wasn't able to cope at the beginning of the year (lot's of heartbreak, crying, trauma healing) but God! (Won't He do it! 🙌) has really been my rock (devotions, bible studies) and lots of forgiving and healing and mending the heart that my current self is so grateful that I've gone through it all. I agree that It will NEVER make sense FOR NOW, but definitely you can see the difference in your character of how you deal with suffering/challenges/struggles in life.
    To those who are currently struggling right now. You'll be okay eventually. You don't have to understand it all right now, all you have to do is continue even when it's hard. God loves you so much! Don't give up! 🫶🏻
