    Date of ride: June 22, 2021
    Distance in the video: approximately 10 miles.
    Bike route: We begin from Lake Five Campground and follow the Gateway to Glacier bike path a few miles into Glacier National Park, passing West Glacier Village. No matter how crazy life gets I still feel freest when peddling my bike with the wind buzzing in my ears.

    Cycled glacier in 2019 and would do it all over again. I did not GoPro our rides but wish I had. Love you videos!

      Thanks Terry, those rides into Glacier were the highlight of our time in the area. Probably much like you we can't wait to revisit the park.

    Very enjoyable virtual cycle except I never like to trail other cyclists. This could be so much better if the camera went on the lead bike to give a clear view of the trail.

    Cool vid and thanks for posting it! Last summer a group of us bike the sun road before it opened to cars. We camped just outside West Glacier village and did see some bike paths OUTSIDE the park. Where did you start on this one? I'd like to find these paths you rode INside the park. THIS yearI'll ride my girlfriends e-bike with my son on his (Trek Powerfly 5 and 4). Rode my Roubaix last summer taking LOTS of pictures and 4 hours up from Avalanche Creek. They took their time and did it in 3. STINKS you need a ticket to drive/enter the west side to POLEBRIDGE this year (2022). It'd be fun to bike that west side road, especially with no cars! All the way to Kintla...

      That bike path you saw leads you to the west gate area but before you get to the gate you cross over a small bridge, just as you cross that bridge there's an entrance to this path. Once you're on it I think you should have no problem getting into the park.

    Not counting the GTSR are there many other paths for e-bikes in the park

    Enjoy the amazing rides., thanks! If time permits would you share how you mount the GoPro and software you use to edit the video. Considering recording my own bike adventures.

      GoPro 8 mounted to the fork brace on a full suspension mountain bike. That bike was stolen so now we switched to using a headset mount. Editing is done with Adobe Premiere.

    Is this the Juiced Crosscurrent X? Do you clip in like you would on your road bike?

      Hi Carol, both of our bikes are Juiced Cross Current X's and no I haven't added clips, but plan to here in the near future. Thanks for watching and keep pedaling 🚴‍♀️

    Any tips on how to find these great bike paths from campgrounds? Thanks!

    • @AmazingBikeRides
      @AmazingBikeRides  2 года назад

      Hi Leslie, kind of difficult to explain but the trail is accessable by making a hard right just as you cross the first bridge on the road leading to the West entrance into the park. My best advice would be to ask a local as they are usually very familiar with it.
