Maybe not Bach, but definitely Beethoven and maybe Mozart (I personally rank Beethoven above Mozart in terms of effective artistry that conveys complex musical-emotional ideas succintly, but I think it is undeniable that Mozart was more prodigious, more mercurial, more wizard-like with his music. But Hisashi definetly falls short of Bach, as I think his works have yet to wholly redefine how we enjoy, analyze, and compose music for the future) There is a very strong academic argument that the tradition of "classical." concert hall/symphonic music has evolved and/or been passed on to what we now know as film music. Therefore, I think that in 100 years, Hisashi will definitely be studied as a great classical AND film composer with regards to how emotional composing can be effectively achieved.

So, if you come across any writers block, I recommend to use this free website. You will need to use the midi format system, though. So record your playing through a music program and use that midi to feed it to the system. The midi can’t be longer than 4 minutes though. However, the movie version employs a full orchestra, which I prefer to this string orchestra arrangement or solo piano. Nothing beats the oboe call, or the accordion solo, or the flute chorus
The first ghibli movie ive seen is howls moving castle when i was around 15 years old and after that i got so amazed that i carried on and watch all of the ghibli movies.......now im 31. And i still keep on watching all of them . Especially when it was out on Netflix my heart is so happpy. Hisaishi and Miyazaki you are legends.

Normally I wouldn’t listen to classical, there’s no words and I can’t understand the music itself, but after listening to this song I started to realize that you don’t need lyrics to understand the song, you just have to feel it❤️ (btw I’ve watch Howls Moving Castle before but I was very young back then, didn’t appreciate it as much as now when i’m older)❤️

Normally I wouldn’t listen to classical, there’s no words and I can’t understand the music itself, but after listening to this song I started to realize that you don’t need lyrics to understand the song, you just have to feel it❤️ (btw I’ve watch Howls Moving Castle before but I was very young back then, didn’t appreciate it as much as now when i’m older)❤️
That softness and delicate sounds of each note makes me think of Sophie's eyes full of love for Howl, even if she didn't knew yet and Howl surrendering himself little by little to her 💙✨
I heard this just by accident and can't quit listening to it. What a stunning piece of music. Sometimes a piece of music just comes out of the blue and becomes an instant favorite. This one did for sure. Bravo Mr. Hisaishi.

이 분이 쓴 노래를 내가 전부 아는건 아닌게 분명한데. 내가 아는 5곡은 왜 전부 미친 퀄리티일까. 도입부가 특별나게 강렬한것도 아니고 클라이막스가 엄청나게 인상적인것도 아닌데, 내 기억속에 남아있는 그런 노래를 쓰셨네. 심지어 그의 노래를 들으면서 그 순간을 함께하는.. 내 기억속에 아로새겨진 추억조차도 없는데. 이 노래들은 내 내면의 추억을 끌어 올려버려. 이게 천잰가?

This song is a living reminder of my promise to my friend and why I made that promise. Whenever I hear this song, I must stop and listen to it, with tears rolling down my eyes.

초등학교 5학년 인생의회전목마에 한창 빠졌을때 피아노로 최대한 이 오케스트라의 느낌을 치고싶어서 몇년동안 엄청 연습하고 편곡했던 기억이난다 지금까지 엄청 많은 인생의 회전목마 오케스트라 버전과 편곡을 들어봤지만 이 영상의 버전만큼 많이 들은 건 없는것같다 이게 원곡인줄알게된건 히사이시조 채널이 생긴걸 며칠 전이 알게됐고 지금 이 채널에 이 음악이 공식적으로 이 오케스트라가 올라온걸 보고 알았다 이게 젤듣기 좋았던 이유도 이게 원곡이라서 아닐까 싶다 뭔가 존버 성공한 늒임,, (예전에는 이 버전을 물타기로 들었어서 겨우 찾아서 mp3로 다운받는데까지 힘들었음)아마 살면서 제일 많이 들은 음악이 인생의 회전목마일까 싶을정도로 인생의 절반을 함께한 음악인만큼 느끼는 감정도 많아지는 것같다 나는 10년이 지난 지금도 이 음악을 들을때마다 뭉클해지고 항상 감동을 받는다 난 앞으로도 이 음악을 평생 들을 것같다
