I would like to hear you explaining what you are exactly doing when removing the guidelines. ie when removing do you just remove the line or do you move up as you're removing the line. A zoom in of the clippers removing and fading the guidelines would be nice and different. Thanks for dope vids.
Put a time stamp from the video here for an example so i can help you
Your basically gradually moving up the head while increasing your clipper length.
I know what you mean- little late reply but hopefully helps someone else.
You have to move up @ the line, because the line itself might be, let’s say, a 0.5; so to remove the 0.5 guideline, the length of the clipper must be longer than 0.5, hence why you have to usually “hit the line” with a 0.5 guard half open. That technically means you’re not hitting the line but a little higher than it, because all the hair at and below the line wouldn’t get cut at all unless the guard is a 0.5 or smaller. Hope that makes sense.
Basically saying “hit the guideline” means go a little longer just barely above the guideline, and that’s what takes the guideline out. Do this as needed and you’ll have a nice, blurry fade. Good luck kings.
@@biatae2713 Thanks. Appreciate the detailed reply. That makes sense!
Steady consistent motion no higher or lower strokes but the same should make for a great fade on the lines
I'm not a barber but do cut my own and my son's hair. Your videos are inspiring and you're sure certify legit and professional my man 💪
The title of video didn't lie cuz this is actually perfect fade. Killed it!🔥 Love the idea of 4 minutes. After this I'll have a great video to watch while I'm waiting to buy a coffee. 😂🖤
Thank you Mathurot!! One day we’ll enjoy some coffee together!!🙏🏽🏴
@@FADEDCULTURE Aww that sounds cute thank you. 🙏🏻🖤
Bro where is the salon?? Which state and country?? Plz tell me the address??
I like this shorter video but yet i love the longer ones as well so keep them coming!!
Thank you Bino! We’ll definitely start pumping more of these as well
Haven't tried the new steps, but they seem to work good.
The results speak for themselves, those are always awesome.
The short format can be useful as a refresher, or for folks with the attention span of a goldfish.
I find it amusing to imagine these types of condensed videos filmed while screaming the steps in a hurry.
How do you guys go about detailing a fade when the client's head has dents or bumps, prominent occipital bone, etc?
The back of my head has some dents on either side of the occipital which always make the fade look darker or uneven in those spots.
First of all thank you for tuning in man and when it comes to heavy dents/bumps I use the corners of my clippers to details those areas as much as possible!
I cut my own hair weekly and this is my guide Thanks Men More Power
I like this. I was tired of a barber saying people from all over the world goes to his shop to get a haircut. I would not travel 3 miles since I can cut my hair better than most stylists. The most important thing about cutting hair is taking your time. If you're in a hurry you are not going to have a nice haircut. Fades are easy, my weak spot is the top. Thanks for the tip.
I just started barber school 3 weeks ago and I watch y’all’s videos non stop
Benefited greatly from this tutorial. Just enhanced my self cuts. Thank you.
Thank you for tuning in🙏🏽🏴
Awesome, I will be trying this on myself too.
I’ve been doing self cut since covid pandemic and tried many tutorials… none have been a fail safe/silver bullet answer for me. On top, doing it myself, there’s always a mistake no matter what.
The biggest challenge i find doing self-cut is; visibility… lines + length gradience is hard to see.
So my question is; to simply your method further for self-cuts… can I remove the first line immediately? This is so that i could try focus and visualise on one guideline, rather than having two.. (the more there, the more possibilities of mistakes) or would it impact the overall fade process?
Nice Cut, and I love the speed, specially people were in busy life and having this kind of speedy haircut is Great. Thank you man for this tutorial video.. best regards here in Philippines.
I can't get enough of your video's. I value ur talent, skill, and workmanship. I thank u for showing the world how to better these skills properly. Truly are the the best.
I'm new to barbering. Thank you for this helpful tut. I'm from 🇵🇭
Of course!! Best of luck on your journey🙏🏽
Heyyo im from malaysia. Without your video i cant be far as a barber
Hey!! Thank you so much, love to hear that!
Can’t wait to try these new steps. Keep making great content!
Thank you for tuning in🙏🏽🏴
Bro where is this salon ?? Which state and country?
I like how you used the 1.5 clip first and then the #1. I usually do that opposite first cause that’s what I’ve usually seen in other videos.
Always good to learn new ways ! Nice cut as always 👍
I use your videos to cut my own hair and I believe that 4 minutes is perfect! I am not sure if you do have the video but it would be great to show a more detailed view on how to use corners to fade… I am still having trouble using corners to fade.
Can you make a video and just detailing... like identifying dark spots and what to look for and how to tackle that... love your videos
I am one of your fans in Iraqi Kurdistan. I always watch your videos. You are the best barber
you are the best of the best. I have to thank you 1000 times for your videos.
Greetings and a big thank you from Germany.
Professionalism, the mastery of great work.
Impressive bro, I had no idea the amount of detail that went into this, very nice, and I think I'm just gonna go back to a barber's shop instead of trying to do this on myself lmao, definitely worth the money now that i see it!
Just so you know these videos are being watch all the way from Mexico ✌ 🇲🇽
You're incredible. You have a talent for explaining the details bro I know I can come here to learn some nitty gritty details even though I've been watching other tutorials for years. I learn new things from you. You don't miss any steps and communicate it perfectly. Appreciate you.
I have a tendency to fade up , this multiple guide line and fade down messes up my mind, do you always fade down now ?? Looks so clean man
Fading up gets real messy for me brotha but we’re all different, I use to fade up but once I started this method and just stuck to it I felt I got a lot better. You don’t have to implement all my steps man but I would suggest still cleaning up the canvass and debulking if your gonna fade up
Thanks alot guys your channel has helped me alot as barber 💈 keep doing what you're doing guys am from Uganda
There is something about getting a fresh fade that makes you look and feel skinnier. You feel healthy after a good fade !
Well said!!
Yessir, short form is doing it. Better than those 1 minute vids but those long forms were dope though
That is a tight fade dude! pure awesome. well done!

This was a bit unusual for a monday drop but it was short amd sweet coz a true fan should already know the steps by now and as always..... You killed it

Looks awesome. Going to try this method in a couple hours. Question, what do you think about expanding/keeping the open section bigger, like 2 fingers to expand the gradient of the fade? Like lower but bigger open section
Man I think it depends on the type of fade you're doing for sure. But yourr right, the lower the fade is around the head or closer to the ears then start the bottom guideline 1 to 2 fingers, or just start with one finger and stretch it out more if needed. That's what I usually do.
Wow that is unbelievable 👍🏽
thank you 🙏🏼
I tried this guidelines and it works very well hermano ! Thank you so much ! And lets continue helping each other out ! Much love and respect ! 🔥🔥🔥✂️💈❤
Great video guys. I have a request, could y’all do a video of a taper fade on a person with high hair? Tapers on people with high hair have been my weak point, I’ve been struggling with those cuts.
The guy skin is literally✨✨✨
If i would be working for myself or be charging 100$ a cut i could follow and master his technique 🔥

love it. would love to see a good tutorial on clipper over comb. Everyone says, "do clipper over comb" and moves on. How deep do you go? how much to cut off? what are you looking for? There's always hair in the comb, how do we know what/how much to cut? thanks
