Im a licensed cosmetologist and am watching your vids ( all of them) to get better at these cuts. Thank you for sharing this. It is much appreciated. ❤ This is art. Going to practice on my man. Lets all say a prayer he doesnt need his whole head shaved after😂😂😂
I like this. I was tired of a barber saying people from all over the world goes to his shop to get a haircut. I would not travel 3 miles since I can cut my hair better than most stylists. The most important thing about cutting hair is taking your time. If you're in a hurry you are not going to have a nice haircut. Fades are easy, my weak spot is the top. Thanks for the tip.
Nice Cut, and I love the speed, specially people were in busy life and having this kind of speedy haircut is Great. Thank you man for this tutorial video.. best regards here in Philippines.
I'm a Barber myself and I always watch your Videos and I apply the 3/4 position on the level on practice and helps me alot on my haircuts thanks big Fan of y'all
I would like to hear you explaining what you are exactly doing when removing the guidelines. ie when removing do you just remove the line or do you move up as you're removing the line. A zoom in of the clippers removing and fading the guidelines would be nice and different. Thanks for dope vids.
I know what you mean- little late reply but hopefully helps someone else. You have to move up @ the line, because the line itself might be, let’s say, a 0.5; so to remove the 0.5 guideline, the length of the clipper must be longer than 0.5, hence why you have to usually “hit the line” with a 0.5 guard half open. That technically means you’re not hitting the line but a little higher than it, because all the hair at and below the line wouldn’t get cut at all unless the guard is a 0.5 or smaller. Hope that makes sense. Basically saying “hit the guideline” means go a little longer just barely above the guideline, and that’s what takes the guideline out. Do this as needed and you’ll have a nice, blurry fade. Good luck kings.
I can't get enough of your video's. I value ur talent, skill, and workmanship. I thank u for showing the world how to better these skills properly. Truly are the the best.
The title of video didn't lie cuz this is actually perfect fade. Killed it!🔥 Love the idea of 4 minutes. After this I'll have a great video to watch while I'm waiting to buy a coffee. 😂🖤
Awesome, I will be trying this on myself too. I’ve been doing self cut since covid pandemic and tried many tutorials… none have been a fail safe/silver bullet answer for me. On top, doing it myself, there’s always a mistake no matter what. The biggest challenge i find doing self-cut is; visibility… lines + length gradience is hard to see. So my question is; to simply your method further for self-cuts… can I remove the first line immediately? This is so that i could try focus and visualise on one guideline, rather than having two.. (the more there, the more possibilities of mistakes) or would it impact the overall fade process?
Impressive bro, I had no idea the amount of detail that went into this, very nice, and I think I'm just gonna go back to a barber's shop instead of trying to do this on myself lmao, definitely worth the money now that i see it!
Good stuff, homie! I like the new steps. I’m actually about to switch to the Wahl guard system after quite a while using the Andis system, so this tutorial was great!
I like how you used the 1.5 clip first and then the #1. I usually do that opposite first cause that’s what I’ve usually seen in other videos. Always good to learn new ways ! Nice cut as always 👍
Fading up gets real messy for me brotha but we’re all different, I use to fade up but once I started this method and just stuck to it I felt I got a lot better. You don’t have to implement all my steps man but I would suggest still cleaning up the canvass and debulking if your gonna fade up
This was a bit unusual for a monday drop but it was short amd sweet coz a true fan should already know the steps by now and as always..... You killed it
I use your videos to cut my own hair and I believe that 4 minutes is perfect! I am not sure if you do have the video but it would be great to show a more detailed view on how to use corners to fade… I am still having trouble using corners to fade.
You're incredible. You have a talent for explaining the details bro I know I can come here to learn some nitty gritty details even though I've been watching other tutorials for years. I learn new things from you. You don't miss any steps and communicate it perfectly. Appreciate you.
That’s a good question kind of hard to explain it’s more of “let me show you” think you should check out our online mentorship where we drop 60+ minute tutorials and do more of the explaining on there it’s a monthly subscription so you can cancel when ever www.skool.com/the-family-7944

It’s costing me more to get me and my 6 year old hair cut. I’m considering on buying my own clippers and cut my sons hair, to save me some money. Thanks for the tutorial….
I want to buy a new trimmer for home use and would like a good zero gapped one for doing my cheek lines (hoping to not need a razor). I'm thinking of buying either Wahl detailers or the BaByliss Pro Super Motor Trimmer. What would you recommend?

Your basically gradually moving up the head while increasing your clipper length.

Steady consistent motion no higher or lower strokes but the same should make for a great fade on the lines
