Would've hendricks died by players punch and also to me it's kinda stupid that kane is instantly in love with player I kinda find that stupid

Kane isn’t actually in love with the player. The majority of the campaign (besides the first, second, and final missions) has you living a simulation that is built from Taylor’s memories of his, Hendricks’, and Kane’s manhunt for Dylan Stone and his team of defectors. During that time, Taylor and Kane fell in love, so you see that replicated in the simulation between The Player (who has taken Taylor’s role in the simulation, while Taylor has taken Stone’s role) and a simulated version of Kane. Kane’s actual consciousness isn’t present in the simulation because she doesn’t have a DNI, so her simulated character falls in love with The Player as the real-life Kane fell in love with Taylor.
