I’m not an old person but strawberry shortcake in my family was always biscuits. They were most the time made from scratch, the biscuits. However so many other families did that little cake because they could go to the store and buy the cake already made and not have to do anything. I think that’s why that cake became so popular and biscuits kind of went by the wayside.

That is an awesome strawberry festival! It reminds me of the one my mom took me to in Ventura, Ca when I was a kid. The stawberry festival in Vegas is boring compared to those two.

They had 2 of the corn dog trucks there this year! The normal one by the stadium and one up front near the main gate. Line was much shorter at the 2nd location!

Umm yes angel it's empty lady a was playing. I would have been all over that. I know they use to be pretty cheap as well to see the concerts. I saw weird al one year at the orange county fair it was like in 2006 or something but it was amazing. Those swings look amazing I'm with Crystal I kind of want them. I have two places in my back yard I could put them I really need to look that up unless they have it at one of the California fairs.
