hey i loke your chanel , i was wondering if you post the Instagram or the ticktock of the people that you interviewing so we can follow them back , thank you
I was looking for this kind of video a few months ago. Last time I was in Japan I saw a lot of couples wearing matching outfits on the weekends, fascinating
I love Japanese fashion not only just the styles but the way they coordinate their clothes to look good together. They also dress for themselves which is great!
Idk about dressing for themselves. You see more people being unique with their style in like Tokyo and even more so in harajuku but in most of Japan I feel like people more try to dress to fit in. You see a lot of people trying to follow fashion norms and they don’t want to be adventurous with their fashion in case they stick out. It’s probably the same in most countries.
Hi @@rachelcookie321 ! Yes, I completely agree that everyone in different countries and Japan do wear clothing/fashion styles to fit in their society norms because that’s how everyone is in their country. I should’ve been more specific of how I appreciate those who dress out of the norm in Japan because I think their styles are amazingly coordinated together and it feels like they dress more for themselves.
I'm so happy that Lolita is still present in Japan, since the first time I discovered it, I absolutely fell in love and never fail on remembering the joy, of trying to find every little info I could about it, and I heard it had mostly died down, but I'm so happy that it's still present, and that it was the first outfit you showed
It's grown a lot overseas! A lot of brands have closed their brick and mortar stores due to rent being high or from covid but they still run as online stores as well. My local community has 20+ members showing up to our monthly meetings in the US. I'm not sure how prevalent the fashion is in the street of Japan but I feel like the brands won't die out anytime soon!
The second girl looked so pretty. Often Lolita can be quite extravagant which I still think is very pretty but I just loved how elegant she looked in it. It didn’t seem out of place for some reason. The whole outfit just looks very good on her.
That's cuz she is wearing classic lolita which as the name sais it's more about looking more elegant and it usually takes a lot more inspiration from actual historical garments, siluettes and even patterns!
We all look forward to seeing fun videos on this channel. People in general have varying tastes and preferences in fashion, and it’s often good to feel inspired to do something completely different. I hope this channel continues to grow and gain further recognition. They all deserve it.

It was surprising how far I’ve gotten familiarized with Japanese fashion and fashion in overall since the last video you uploaded. I even recognized the jewelry brands mentioned in the video now, thanks to you. I hope we get a part 3.

this was such a good video ! i especially love these kinds of videos where you ask about fashion because i like to study fashion in both the US and Japan. I like to see how much the US impacts Japan in terms of fashion or vice versa, so this really helped my studies !!! I’ll be going to Japan in 2023 for the entire year to study, so hopefully I’ll get to see you ! 本当にありがとうございました。お疲れ様でした。

There's some cool fashion there for sure. It could be interesting to show the fashion in Shinsaibashi in Osaka next time! I think it's pretty different. There are a lot of vintage stores there and 90s hip hip style is popular.

Tokyo is definitely a place where I'd probably be If I want to dress more freely. Living away from the capital just makes the concentration of unique style you can see. Getting glances for wearing aloof/cute clothes is the norm where I live.

i'd love to be able to dress however i want and not have people side eyeing me, i tried stepping out my comfort zone once and received some glares from elderly people and so that kinda made me uncomfortable with what i wore even though i felt happy. it'd be nice if people were able to wear whatever they wanted comfortably and not be judged.
Love this video. In my personal opinion out of all the places I’ve been to, Tokyo is definitely the most fashionable. Makes me wish I’d packed nicer clothes when I was there lol. Please continue this series! ^^
I really like the way Lolita fashion is going, it seems more sophisticated without sacrificing the youthfulness and cuteness of the aesthetic. It's not too charged with details and accessories, it's juuuust right. I think this is going to be the best era for Lolita fashion. Can't wait to see all the different variations.
I love your channel Jesse! I love seeing people being creative with their dress, especially in Japan, it's fabulous. Also Shun has the most beautiful arms and hands, just me and my random observations. 😆
Thanks as always! Your videos are done so well, I love the editing and how you let each individual talk about each item from top to bottom, as well as the most expensive item!
There are so many brands in Japan! ..mad respect to these people for remembering all that they bought and where. I wouldn't know what the hell I am wearing everyday....😅

Good to see some lolita's! Especially in classic and especially in Victorian maiden arguably the best classic styled brand (aside from mary Magdalene imho)

I’m so amused that 3:35 and 7:03 are wearing the same h&m top. Also I think the twins were twinning their outfits on purpose! One white and one black but essentially similar styles!

My lord, those half Japanese twins 😍!! I'm also a half Japanese twin!! Such an awesome mix, I love it.
I loved the last girl’s comments.
