All four of the Fox anchors mentioned in this video are commentators. Journalistic integrity isn't something they're bound by. Ingraham, Hannity, and Piro all have shows specifically produced and marketed on THEIR VIEWS. The word "commentator" which is their actual occupation wasn't mentioned once in this video. Why? Because just like on Hannity's show certain pieces of relevant information don't serve the biased narrative that's being packaged, the ONLY DIFFERENCE is this clown has the gall to refer to himself as a "journalist". actually the education system has been grossly overfunded for decades. we put more money in constantly but results do not change. what is needed is defunding of the adminstrative regional/state/national offices so we can allocate that money to the actual school districts
It's underfunded in certain regions, over funded and corrupt in other regions. This is a bit of a tangent, but you have the massive exploitation of public charter schools. It's a business model to "Open" a new charter school. Advertise and accept as many enrollments from parent's for a "New Modern, Private school without the cost". Bail on have any accredited teacher. Keep kids around for a semester to get the public funding. Then close after pocketing the money without teaching the kids anything or having any teachers for an entire season. The school gets closed for "low academic performance" All the students essentially skips an entire year without learning anything, and the people who open the school in the first place opens a new one under a different name completely legally because it's a business. Then you rinse and repeat. I'm not saying Charter school are a bad concept entirely. Simply that without strict regulation the people harm is our next generation. 404 new Charter school opened in 2015, 272 closed in 2016 servicing almost 3 million kids. And this happens every year on a loop because it's immensely profitable and perfectly legal. Have a source on the numbers from a website promoting Charter Schools, www.publiccharters.org/sites/default/files/migrated/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/New-Closed-2016.pdf They spin the closures as "The school closures provide evidence that the accountability part of the charter school model is being upheld" except that the kids get shafted and it's not illegal to open a new school under a different name after your previous one closes. Rinse and repeat.
The problem is rural areas, in major population centers the vote has swung more democratic www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/politics/2016-election/urban-rural-vote-swing/
Just to clear things up with everyone in the comments The BBC news broadcasting on TV by law has to be neutral. That doesn't apply to the website and the online videos don't lump the actual broadcasted news in with that because they are different
I remember Bill O'Reilly telling Jon Stewart that there was a diversity of opinion on Fox News. It's amazing how successful the Right has been at blatantly lying and expecting people to just accept what they say.
I mean Ever since Trish Regan compared Denmark to Venezuela us Scandinavians know that Fox news is nothing but... well let me quote someone they like. "Fake news" ~Donald Trump.
well i don't know if the word "fake" applies to this situation, it's more like propaganda. The main reason that rich people are buying/bought news platforms is to influence public opinion.Because if you can control people's information sources you can control thier opinion. But this also means that candidates can use this for an advantage. If you look at the management and/or owners of the news platform you can see thier goal. Look at NBC,MSNBC,ABC,CNN,FOX,New york times,Washington post you'll be amazed at what you find
C caymer That's just flat out false and unfair... Also let's just be honest for a second here, according to almost every research Scandinavian/Nordic countries are great places to live in
C Caymer Well that's them. The Yallahs. I know that one day or another some Yallah in here will read this and let me say one thing. There are a few good immigrants but finding them is like finding a needle in a 30ft haystack! I mean they aren't alone look at the Polish and the Romanians, in a way they're just as bad. And besides it's them who decided to get to us to be honest. If anything, blame Syria and the other Middle Eastern countries. I mean they've been at war for decades and it doesn't show signs of stopping anytime soon.
So what are you now then? Did you vote for Trump? Did you vote Democratic in the midterms? Could you really call yourself a Republican anymore? Are you socially and fiscally conservative? You need to answer these questions man...
I appreciate your comment, but I find it hard for you to know what I think and what I worry about. Please don’t put words in my mouth, your comment doesn’t have anything to do with media impact in US politics. That’s what I’m worried about.
You really showed me lol. But again, I am specifically talking about media endorsement of a political candidate. Your opinion is not talking about that. You have brought in an entirely different conversation, something that I also happen to disagree with you about. But that’s not what this video or my original comment is about.
GantXP because CNN is the power bottom of trump - the whole point is that real news doesn’t do that - so when comments are made about - what about CNN doing X - that is 100% F.E
This is so unreal for me. I am from Germany and we have two big nation-wide and a ton of regional news stations and television channels that are part of the state (compare it to the BBC in Britain). They are obligated to stay politically impartial. The idea that a TV channel would be right or left wing is absolutely absurd. They are only obligated to defend democracy and become political if a party tried to attack or change the constitution. But never in a million years would a news show decide to evaluate the decisions of any politician. This is not professional.
We should keep them around to laugh at. There is nothing funnier than watching Hannity have a total meltdown and start sewing absurdities as "fact". Carlson's temper tantrums and use of alternative facts are highly entertaining as well.
It’s crazy how biased news shows are in America, they have to be unbiased in my country (newspapers are the ones that are allowed to display political opinions)
Theoretically everything is biased in some way, even if it is really slight. It is almost impossible to remove all of a person's bias from the conversation.
In my country, the media pretends to be unbiased but they subtly lean to one side (mostly the left) and it sickens me to see journalists pretend to be impartial, therefore gaining reliability, and implement doctrines toward the people. I’d much rather live in the US where I know that I can watch CNN if I’m liberal or Fox News if I’m conservative.
@@brianbrush5107 So? Sounds like something a religious fanatic would say, and we ignore them--just as we should ignore Fox--instead, everything is a cause justified by moral posturing.
@@brianbrush5107 Ok, let's play this out: what should the critics of Fox News do to: (a) drive Fox out of business, failing that, (b) alter Fox's business practice so they depart from their current modus? play fair? no one watching the news can really say that fox propaganda even has the ability to come close to the other major networks speaking in unison, unequal treatment of candidates and rigging of debates. meanwhile fox has always been consistent in saying they are bias while the obvious bias at other networks is ignored
Fox should change their motto from "Fair and Balanced"(gag me) to "We Do the Thinking for You So You Don`t Have to". But I`m sure the weak minded Fox viewers will disagree.
I feel like we should draw a line between journalist and political commentator tho... it should be clear no one at Fox News is a journalist, at least on the major talk/commentary shows... we should have a clear distinction of who are real, to the extent they can be neutral, journalists
@@Drjusmar it is important to draw a distinction between any channel and Fox tho... i hate CNN but at least they actually do report on some news and do fact checking. Fox is just a propaganda machine
@@harryk8696 They do report *some* news, however they obfuscate that line between factual reality and subjective commentary very well. Which is my point. They don't make content that is 100% fact 100% of the time.

You will literally never get people who watch Fox News to stop watching Fox News. That's the whole reason they watch it, because they want to see their view of the world, no matter how non-factual, hypocritical or ridiculous it is.
I think the way people get on it - is tendency for passive consumption. People like that seek sheer entertainment, they want ideas handed over to them well baked, chowed up and half digested. This crowd will never proactively seek news , facts or ideas. These are couch potato type of people
I rarely watch News channels on TV or RUclips due to these narcissistic anchors. I keep myself distant from toxicity. Get a job, Work hard, play video games and mind your own business. That's life.
Hannity isn’t really a journalist anymore he’s just a republican cheerleader so it’s not really surprising or unethical that he would campaign for republican candidates.
The news media never possessed the ethical mandate or credibility we presumed. That was merely fantasy on our part, and so we can express righteous indignation when someone is "doing the news wrong."
Well, it is unethical, because there's this logo in the corner saying its "News". John Oliver is heavily opionated (without actually cheering for particular candidates), Samantha Bee actually actively cheers for some democratic candidates, but there's no breach of ethics, because they are both openly and admittedly comedy shows, hosted by comedians, who don't claim to be journalists, aired on variety channels instead of a news channel. Maybe FOX News should be just forced to change it's name to "Republican Entertainment Network" and replace the news segments with Home Improvement reruns...
They're already running good things to talk about as far as Trump and his administration. I'm actually surprised with how negatively they were talking about him recently 😂. Fox News doesn't know what to do with Trump
I want so badly to be best friends with this man, i literally cannot express how much i want to complain and eat ice cream and just be homies with this young man.
I mean this applies to all (Including this channel) media, The main problem in the US is congress sitting on their hands, and the media constantly demonizing things instead of constructive content that points out how to fix it
Well, we have those, but they are not laws, just rules made by some private entity (it's quite big and most news outlets follow the rules, but others also don't really care about these rules.
@@jemandanderes7075 Okay, to be fair it’s similar to ours. We do have laws but not in a way that it would forbid FOX… The rules setup that would is also private.

Vox is not perfect, with some biases. But Fox is clearly on another level.
Every news outlet has biases. It's impossible to remove bias because they're all run by people.
I'd say they're both on the same level, different sides of the spectrum. "some biases" -- all bias
@@MannyDer I mean, Fox news don't use any facts, and support Donald Trump. That's not 'the same level', that's fascist propaganda bullshit. Vox, however, make educational videos that feature facts and information- something the right wing are allergic to.

@@Billyjoe78517 CNN talked about Hillary's emails which was and still is a non-issue. They are also still talking about Trump-Russia Gate because it is a huge on-going scandal like the rest of Trump's dozens upon dozens of scandals and secret payoffs. All four of the Fox anchors mentioned in this video are commentators. Journalistic integrity isn't something they're bound by. Hi fellow *ANTIFA SUPERSOLDIER*
This is what happens when your education system is severely underfunded.
it is being kept underfunded for a reason.
actually the education system has been grossly overfunded for decades. we put more money in constantly but results do not change. what is needed is defunding of the adminstrative regional/state/national offices so we can allocate that money to the actual school districts
Have a source on the numbers from a website promoting Charter Schools,
www.publiccharters.org/sites/default/files/migrated/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/New-Closed-2016.pdf
They spin the closures as "The school closures provide evidence that the accountability part of the charter school model is being upheld" except that the kids get shafted and it's not illegal to open a new school under a different name after your previous one closes. Rinse and repeat.

As an Indian, its just weird that american news station anchors have a personality.
If I had to pick one news channel to disappear from US without a trace, it would be fox news.
