Basic lack of understanding what this war is about. Its not about the territory but depriving an enemy of military capability to continue fighting.
Yesterday strike in Aviatorskaya air base near Dnepro is a clear indication of that.
Three Iskanders weere used. Three mig 29s and four An 26s military transport planes were destroyed. Full c 300 battery is wiped out. Pilot dormitory is hit with pilots in.

As we can see from this data, Russia made huge gains at the very start of the war, because Ukraine was not prepared. But since then, in the last 2 years, Russia has actually LOST terrain, on top of suffering tremendous losses. So for all the Russians who keep shouting about how Russia is still advancing every day, keep in mind that Russia is still at a net loss of 2.000 km² compared to 2 years ago. And if Russia only advances 300 km² per 6 months, then it'll take another 3,5 years just to break even with 3 April 2022. Note that this is after the Russians lost the entire northern area where they attacked Kiev and failed, so it's not even looking at Russia's biggest extent.

Нужно не только город сам захватить.
Сперва северные и южные оркстености города. А там ещё 1 село стоит на пути, это село находится западнее богдановки ( кажется так называется село то ) .
Это село будет захвачена до 9 мая уж точно, но вот часов яр нет. Только западная часть , мкр где находится россиские войска.
Так же думаю что россиские войска смогут захватить до 9 мая, все важные укрепления в юге часов яра. Они сейчас находится на лесополосе.
Часов яр +- падёт к середину июня, или конца. Такими темпами.
Если конечно США вдруг не решат помочь. Это может затянуться до конца лета.
И есть шанс что ВСУ начнут больше контр атаковать те позиции.

There was never a Russian army in Donbass at all, lol. Where did you get the information about the Russian army in Donbass? What units took part there, in what numbers, and how many entered? Why haven't they found a single soldier in 8 years? Why did the head of the OSCE say that there is no Russian army in Donbass? Why was the Kiev Court of Appeal in 2016 unable to establish the fact of armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Donbass?
Even the UN Court has already ruled that the DPR and LPR are not terrorist organizations. By the way, it didn’t hurt Turchinov to announce the “Anti-Terrorist Operation” a week before Strelkov’s arrival, something doesn’t add up, don’t you think?
@@misheljane972 I answered this question 13 days ago, so I'm going to copy-paste my message. I couldn't find anything about Kyiv's and UN's Court case. OSCE reported about the presence of Russian troops in the Donbas. Even the ECHR determined that they have been there since May of 2014. I can call you one. Trundaev, fought in the Donbas and got a reward for the "Hero of Russia". How many fought in the Donbas? Probably thousands.
Are you talking about Turchinov's "ATO declaration" on 7th of April? They were getting rid of those who armed themselves and captured the administration centers in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv. With special forces, they retook Kharkiv without firing a shot, but in the Donbas, another ATO was necessary.

@@Barin-hn1bf Uralvagonzavod does not even remotely have the capability of producing any 4 tanks per day.
According to Russian propaganda, Russia produced 1500 tanks in a year (which the above Russian propagandist confirms is what Russian propaganda says). However, what the Russian propagandist forgets to say, is that 1.180-1.280 of those are refurbished tanks from storage. Which means only 220-320 tanks were NEW, and 1.180-1.280 tanks were removed from their stockpiles. And when those stockpiles run out (which is what satellite images confirm), then Russia will have a huge problem equipping its forces, because even if they manage to produce 500 new tanks per year, they lose that many in just 2 months.
So, lets recap: according to Russian propaganda, they produced a TOTAL of 1500 tanks in a year, 1230 of which were old ones from storage and 270 new ones (on average). I'll stick with the side with all the evidence, not the Russian propaganda.
