Best marching band in the world. They are all great but I have my favorites. If I get one which before I die it is to see them live one time and meet some of the ladies.
Hi Robert B. L. Williams, Congratulations! You have yourself a video of a classic gathering of musicians. It's a historical document. It's unlikely that Kyoto Tachibana will return, unless the rule changes are returned to what they were like the day of this event. Really wish I were in Pasadena , California on January 1, 2018.
@@clutchpedalreturnsprg7710 Even if the Rules didn't change we can still be able to see some Kyoto Tachibana members maybe as part of an Honor Green band like in 2010 the Kansai Honor Green Band their are 6 Kyoto Tachibana Alumni that joined and Marched in the Rose Parade as part of that band and the Japan Honor Green band in 2020 where the some of the most known KT members(possibly legends) joined like Kurara and Chippi.And even though that their is no member of KT joining there is still a tradition of the GBA that i hope doesn't disappear.The tradition that KT graduates will be the one Creating a simple but Entertaining Marching Choreographies that the Japanese Marching band are gonna use in the Rose Parade,They have been doing this to all the Japanese Marching bands that come to the US for the Rose Parade for the past 12 years after but still i hope that KT will come back to the US in the Future im really curious on whats in store if they will be joining again and btw have you read the interview of the 118th class of KT in the Unofficial fanblog of Kyoto Tachibana? You should read it its really inspiring and cool to meet “The New KT”
They did a fine job though. The xylophonist was a Senior. The iron harp/ glockenspiel player was in her first year with the Band. Both eventually became members of the O-VILS Band.
