I really like the way you made it so colorful and then grounded all of the colors and patterns with the solid orange binding. I love scrappy binding, but your choice of a solid binding is perfect! I love the backing on that quilt as well! Your friend's quilt for her husband is really nice; I loved the green and orange used to contrast with all of the t-shirts. Cindy, the stamps work really good. The hexagon is in the stamp and you stamp on the fabric and cut it out enough to make the grandmother’s flower and the hand sew together. The sewing lines are stamped on the fabric. It works great.

Thank you Linda! I don’t have a pattern for the Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt. I did a previous video explaining how I made the flowers and the size of the background. I used a jelly roll for the flowers and the scrap sashing. And a layer cake for the background which I trimmed to 8 1/2 after I appliquéd the flowers on it. The scrap sashing squares are 21/2 inch and it equaled out putting them with the 81/2 in blocks. Then on the border I cut the background to 2 1/2 by 81/2 inches. I hope this helps.
