Brother Sumrall was the pastor of my pastor, and a mentor to our faith and ministry. I was honored to have ministered in his church, Bible school, and TV stations. He truly walked under the anointing of an apostle, unlike anyone I had ever met. He was extraordinarily humble, fearless in his faith, and shocking in the bold things he said and did to bring healing and deliverance in the lives of people. I had to leave the churches for about 10 years I am in some bad sins now but I am watching Lester Sumrall and it's like my only Lifeline I am dealing with horrible things in my life and my family and this man's teaching from God is the only thing that I have hope in at the moment and I've never heard any other Pastor in my life as good as him there's no power anywhere that I can see on the earth and especially in America so I'm clean onto this and I'm praying for some kind of Deliverance for me and my family and I really pray that there were more preachers like this and I wish I could even do it but I feel like I failed God so I'm just saying these videos mean a lot to me even though I'm in deep sin I am entrapped and things and I don't know how to get out but I'm trying to get out and get my family out it's horrible.... Thank you so much for posting this! I love Lester Sumrall, I never missed his teaching tv program in the 70s. He would do 30 minute teaching series on different subjects. I had all his books, all of his teaching syllabuses, you could write in and order them, and I did! I would love to see those rebroadcast!!! He was humble, obedient, often funny, and absolutely anointed! Thank you, thank you, thank you for keeping his memory alive. Keep posting and reposting his sermons, he was a precious, precious man after God's heart!
Is there any great Pastor like him today in year 2023? He taught me a lot of his teachings teaches us to be vigilant about the evil side. I love Pastor Derek Prince. May they both continue to RIP. Really God's Holy Spirit on them those days.
In these last days God will raise up many to walk in the Spirit! His Spirit will be poured out on all flesh! We've been in the sift of but we are emerging to fight God's war on darkness a we are diamonds built in the fire going up that burning mountain and when the devil says you're out tell him to shut up and come out! Glory Jesus is coming!
It is supposed to be all of us. When we ask “where are the people to do this or that?”, it is we ourselves who must step up and start to be the people we look to find...Jesus said those who follow him will do all he did and even greater things. God’s army isn’t meant to warm the pews, but get up and go do, ready or not, and God will come to back us up. Like learning to ride a bike, it might be a little wobbly at first, but it passes... I realized I won’t know all I need to know, I won’t ever feel ready, and we are programmed by schools with the mindset that we have to first learn and then go do, that someone else has to say “you have completed what you need to know, now you are qualified to participate”. It destroys the natural flow of preparing oneself for anything in the world at all. It’s ungodly, really. There was a time...for thousands of years...when people learned by watching and doing alongside someone who was great at what they did, and they started from day one with that mindset for their children...Watch and do, take correction as you go along. We can do this creating our own lessons from the ones we see here. We can pray in the streets for others and when someone asks for your money, which you can say “would you also like me to pray for you?” If they say no, are told leave them be, but still hand them the money, as Jesus said to do so, and God loves a cheerful giver. We are not to question how they will use the money, as people tend to do when they see a cardboard sign, however I would personally reserve giving any painfully larger sums (like those that would require dipping into any savings in a big way, that’s God guidance” territory for me) of money for people who won’t gamble it away. I do think it’s OK to hold back in such a situation, unless God says “give that person this much money”. It would still make sure it’s God. I let the Holy Spirit guide me, sometimes I am told “don’t stop to help or give that person anything”, but that is very rare, and I think it has been to protect me personally. I usually let the Holy Spirit tell me how much I should give to someone. It’s wise to create little amounts tucked away in various spots so you have $1, $5, $10, $20’s etc. in different spots so you can easily do that. Anyway, this is just an example. We are also to start to cast out devils. We will get better at it as we do it:) It is for each of us to step up and take action. Today is the day. We can do something every day.
There are many today around the world who believe in and seek to walk in the same spirit of power and anointing as did Brother Sumrall, especially young preachers he mentored and befriended, such as myself. However, because of the spirit of entertainment and compromise that has largely taken over much the American church, we don't see or hear as much about such men of God here, but are mostly involved in the mighty revivals and outpourings elsewhere around the world. There is a great end-time revival occurring around the globe... except for the United States, which sadly is more entrenched in wickedness than ever before.
I'm going to be honest, there are many ministers who were around Lester Sumrall and Lester even trained them but most still didn't walk in the power he walked in . It's just as elijah passing the mantel to elisha. If you been around him and was trained by him then they should walk in the power he walked in. I'm not just talking about preaching but I'm talking about casting out evil spirits and miracles

Enough of giving space to the devil. We can't checkmate the devil in our own power but in Jesus' power. He had won the ultimate victory for us in Calvary. We are not fighting for victory but rather, we're fighting from victory. The devil has no power but the one he stole. So, It's time to take it back. The source of power to cast out unclean spirits (demons) is in the Word of God. Living clean and doing it Jesus' way and manner makes it easy. The gospel according to Mark and the Book of Acts of the Apostles depicts explicitly the authority of a believer concerning this subject matter. Shalom! It's time to do set free the people (the image of God).

Does it belp to be educated to read the bible? Two men I truly respect. One, Professor of philosophy at Cambridge the other, a Sheffield plumber. Both possessed many supernatural gifts but only one resurrected people from the dead. Which one? The plumber. Does it belp to be educated to read the bible? Two men I truly respect. One, Professor of philosophy at Cambridge the other, a Sheffield plumber. Both possessed many supernatural gifts but only one resurrected people from the dead. Which one? The plumber.
And every moment we spend in the bible (The Word of God) YOU ARE WITH GOD listening to His voice He is WITH US, every moment. Though we may not realise it, we are being changed, unclean spirits are leaving us and we progressively become Christlike.
Can an uneducated person read God's Word just as well as a professor? How? They simply ask the holy spirit "what should I read and then "teach me."And He does.

no believer should fear the devil, he is a defeated foe. take your stand, but be warned, if you don't know Jesus as Lord and you try to confront him, you will end up like those in Jesus' day who tried to cast out the devil. they replied, Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you? and they jumped on them. If you are a spirit filled believer who has faith and no fear, then no problem. Just do like he said, In the name of Jesus, come out. with authority, Amen
