I have been listening to Pastor Sumrall and had not known he had passed 24 years ago. His messages are very relevant today. I hope to see him in heaven one day. God has really blessed us with a wonderful preacher. Praise God for him. Amen

I had the honor of seeing him twice and the blessing of him praying and laying hands on me. I’ve only made it halfway through this but I see no error in his preaching. I believe if he had been given the chance to expound on anybody’s disagreement he would’ve clarified it. I don’t believe there was a man of God in the last century that did as much, reached as much and fed as much as he did. This general fed nations. If you haven’t please read his biography it’s incredible. If you don’t have anything good to say young men don’t say anything at all speak life which is the language of God.

I agree, he assumed small churches would gossip against each other, pretty big assumption. Some smaller ones work better as a team, and can be a lean, mean, Satan-fighting machine. And some are too big to have people know each other well enough to have each other’s back and work powerfully together. Quality, not quantity, is the factor. Any size church, comprised of serious, quality people. That’s what counts.

But he was getting old, and the memory can be less than optimal at a certain age. (I should know, as I'm getting up there myself!)

Yet many ministers stray from the message of deliverance. “ Tell God he doesn’t listen to second hand messages; for by what reason does he preach for it too is coming through a vessel second-hand. I’m not giving the implication that most of what he spoke wasn’t validated truth but some of what he stated was out of order. This gives people the indication we can snub because the vessel is being used of the spirit of the Lord. We can’t do whatever we want to do and serve the Lord. Overall you should be able to identify when the Lord is speaking and when man is reacting to his own will.

Another branch was about to start and bare more fruit than the others. Do not agree...people get born again at all ages. I know I did!!!!! When a person comes with true repentant heart to God, He is merciful and ready/able to forgive. I have asked Him to change me and he does. The process of sanctification does not happen all at once, at least on the flesh level....it takes place in relationship over time. Wherever you are, whatever you have done, come to God. Do it today....this day you have A L L HOPE! Can't say that about tomorrow.
