Project Description:

In today’s episode, you will learn how to measure the distance using Arduino Nano, the Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor JSN SR04T, and an I2C-supported SSD1306 Oled display module.
Don’t worry if you see AJ-SR04M printed on the module. JSN SR04T and AJ-SR04M are exactly the same the only difference is that the AJ-SR04M has an empty location for a resistor and the JSN SR04T doesn’t have it. The amazing thing about this Ultrasonic Sensor is that, it comes with a long wire due to which it can be easily installed.
Instead of using the Arduino Nano, you can also use Arduino Uno, Arduino Mega, Arduino Pro micro, or any other Arduino board. You can also use this Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor with 3.3V compatible controller boards like Nodemcu ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, STM32, and so on. In my upcoming video, I will build an IoT based Water Level monitoring system. So, consider subscribing, if you don’t want to miss any of my upcoming projects.

By the way, after a research can get data from ultrasonic module just by using 2 wires by carry data over dc lines :)

Thanks for showing the transducer.
With the other cheaper sensor you can buy a display board that the pins from the sensor plug in to the board & the display tells you the distance.
Why doesn't the waterproof sensor plug in this way?
It has a totally different plug in mechanism.
I'm hoping to maybe use the waterproof sensor for my car when backing up to help me park easier. So how would I power the waterproof sensor with a 9v battery to use this way?

Please reply this, in my project ,iot based rainfall measure. I used ultrasonic sensor to measure water level in 4 inches PVC pipe. When contact with water drops it not provide accurate values. Waterproof one i didn't use so far. Will it work ? In 4 inches pvc pipe
