This is one of the prettiest renovations I've ever seen. So peaceful, light and airy, serene and highly functional. All good things for any kitchen. The inspiration painting is perfect on that wall too and I love that it has such a poignant meaning behind it. Also, would you please share the paint colors you used in this kitchen? Wow the most beautiful kitchen DIY I have ever seen the transformation is amazing, The size of the windows I know they were there already but the light that you have from them and the colors of the cabinets the placement of the sink with the cabinets for easy access to the cabinets above the color of the island I love it all wish it was mine. Great job you must be so happy to be finished and using it every day.
The appreciation on that place in 3 years after renovation is far beyond what an airbnb would make. Suspect the next chateau will be professionally renovated with the $5 million made from this one.

This kitchen is spectacular! It has the best feeling imaginable with the high ceilings, tall windows bringing in so much light, and then all the high end cabinetry and fittings, including your custom tiles. Nana’s painting is the finishing touch. Bravo to you two amazing people!

The Chateau Kitchen is absolutely gorgeous! The paint colours are perfect for this space. Everything from the panels, trim & especially the pops of blue in the hand designed tiles make this room exquisite! Can't underestimate Grammy's painting in this room, the inspiration for all the colours. It looks beautiful on the wall. It would be awesome to put some cobalt blue and white dishes in the glass door cupboards. Awesome job, both of you!!!

It actually was surprisingly difficult, even though most footage was edited already. But condensing down and making choices is always harder then making things longer :)

I watched an interview of a model that worked with Halston in the 70’s, and she described one of his offices as being colored in a warm neutral scheme that “made you feel good.” I feel like your kitchen color scheme has the same impact. Very nice.
You put your energy into every inch of this chateau and it's a positive vibe all over. After this project, you could be a chateu renovation manager for other chateau. Or even a designer interior. You have a really good taste on everything! ❤️

It was nice to watch the transformation, all in one go. It is a stunning kitchen. However, I think it's lacking some depth of colour. I think the grey needs to be repeated or some of the blue from the beautiful tiles. Maybe an indoor herb garden??? There's something missing, a little sterile... at least when there's no one in the shot. But definitely a beautiful kitchen and not cookie cutter... even for a Chateau. ; )

Yes,the variation in colours and tones gave the room depth. Which is actually in the painting. This room is a character-free zone.
although the new kitchen is stunningly beautiful in a Magazine-In-A-Doctor's-Waiting-Room kind of way, i actually much prefer the kitchen the {higgledy-piggledy, chaotic colours} way it was before.... it had charm & character, the room now is just... perfect....

@ maybe the kitchen wasn’t functional as it was before because your kitchen is the backbone of your home and yeah I’m all for charm but I also want a charming kitchen that can handle my cooking which I do on the regular so upgrades are a must! Not like ultra modern but this style that Anna I believe that’s her name well she did a fine job and now she can really cook like Jacques Pepin!

I’ve been amazed watching this kitchen come to life. I could stare at it all day. The color on the cabinetry is incredible. And I absolutely marvel at the amount of hand brush painting Anna has done in this room. The cabinet hardware and faucets are just so incredibly beautiful. What a masterpiece.

I would have loved to see a touch more colour, I mean you guys are going for a quite toned down color palette in the whole chateu, but keeping a bit of th elight blue would have been nice with the tiles aswell

Nice summary. Bedroom above kitchen is problematic from a Feng Shui perspective. Just make sure the bed does not stand on top of the stove! This is one of the few things most Feng Shui masters seem to agree on.

So fun to see a summary recap. Reminds me of the monumental accomplishment this reno was. You know what I love about a super neutral base palette in an interior is that you can use accessories- paintings, furniture, plants, etc, for the color to make it come alive. I also love that Philippe wears boat shoes always because he is a sailor at heart. Bravo!
she did with the deep blue tiles. the paint on the island and that one inspiration painting on the wall. At times she will add flowers and fruit and acessories to the island and her dinging table. color there. She has see through cabinets and can add color or lack there as time goes on. It seems so warm and glowing. i really love it. i expect that other room off the kitchen will reflect something of the kitchen.
Very nice edited video, and the kitchen became so fine! The only thing I personally might comment on, are the corners on the kitchen island.
I always round of corners, since they are not useful, but eventually painful...... On the other hand, those corners could be rounded of easily, if need be,since you have become such good renovaters! .A minor reflection, congrats to such a lovely kitchen!! Greetings from a frosty Sweden..!
