They were always stylish, and the sloped nose was aerodynamic. I didn't get the name of the RV Park. Keep having fun. No wind today but the Temps have gone from the 60's to th 90's last week to this week. We still be near Palm Springs doing Medical West Coast Maintenance for about another 3 weeks then on the move again. Keep having fun!!! 😷⚒

@@StrangeRVTours 70 degrees isn't so bad, 80 degrees, without rain? No thanks!

I've always wanted one of these but I just got me a 1996 Holiday Rambler Endeavor LE and I'm very happy with it and the reason they stopped production was that they were more interested in building trucks.

Cool - hope you can find parts and don't go broke!

Like many car enthusiasts, I've heard of the GMC Motorhome. I've seen a few in my lifetime. It's a shame they were only produced for five? six years? before being discontinued. They had great ideas and should've continued. They looked nothing like most motorhomes. They looked way more attractive (IMHO) than most motorhomes offered at the time, including Winnebago. I'd buy one if I had someone who also liked unique and different motorhomes.

They wanted to concentrate on trucks - at least that is what someone told us. I think they are so cool!

@@StrangeRVTours That's what I've been told. I don't get why they couldn't have kept the Motorhome while at the same time continuing to produce the Pickup and Suburban.

They would be easy to drive because of the tag wheels.

I personnallly love them; been watching Jim Bounds for years on these; yea, they are old and finding parts are getting harder and harder.. you need to be part mechanic, part handyman, and have cash to keep it up.

Just looked him up - awesome! We live in a 1998 "TropiCal". Just like the Dolphin. Wish we had a club or somebody that could give us advise on stuff! We moved to Texas and was told by an insurance agent you can't get insurance on an RV that was more than 20 yrs old here and we were still paying automatic payments for the last two years! The GMC model is just iconic!

@@StrangeRVTours I think IF GMC would bring this one back, they would make a fortune on it with a few mordern touches and a newer engine like that Tornado 405 or 455 with that low toque .
