Tonari is a legit anime studio, they’ve worked on Mushoku Tensei, Black Clover, Digimon, Castlevania and even more like Slime Diaries, so of course the animation is crazy. People have speculated a lot on how much this costed to produce, but I don’t even want to know, it’s amazing and that’s all that matters xD

From Red being her more feral self, the gills she has on the sides of her chest, thinking it perfectly normal to be naked because clothes are more of a hindrance underwater, acquiring her signature hoodie on land, learning of the wonders of cooked food (can't really do that underwater) and a weird compulsion to join Hololive...
ok, so the reason Gura is naked is because lore wise she came from Atlantis which doesn't really like clothes due to, well being underwater. The reason this became lore was because of an infamous story about how before debut Gura's model was shown to the other members of Myth without clothes on which has been explained through the aforementioned made up lore.
The hoodie lore has been official from the very start! The second sentence is "She bought her clothes (and her shark hat) in the human world and she really loves them."

(though I could be off) 3:20 actually tried the QR code but got nothing, nice detail though that it has one 3:38 on the calendar June 20th is circled which is her Birthday and is also when the massive off collab happened so a nice attention to detail, also the same day the movie Jaws was released 3:44 all of Myth texting Gura 3:47 Bloop (we haven't seen him in a while, thought she ate him) 3:48 not a reference but just love that wide eye to the tail and butt wiggle
The axolotl is more likely a reference to the search all the holo members had for the blue axolotl in minecraft! Kanata went especially crazy trying to get one. Also, in the scenes where gura I'd putting on the hoodie for the first time, you can see Korone's cake hat for a split second!

Gura talked about how the studio that did this are massive hololive fans. That a ton of the references put in where done by them like for example the green hoodie. She even asked why is there a green hoodie and they went "oh, remember that gta stream you did where you changed the color?" Gura didn't even remember lol
I liked how IRyS was included in this, as well as being part of the calender picture on the calender Gura had in her room. It's interesting that they decided to make IRyS kind of responsible for Gura, and maybe even all of Myth, joining Hololive. I'm gonna be hitting up massive amounts of Magni's copium stocks that this might actually lead to an official anime down the road. Do it, you cowards!
Being that OmegaAlpha is the staff member that oversees all of the EN branches (apparently also Stars EN), IryS probably acts as the "voice" for Omega since she narrated the lore vids for the Council debut. So lorewise, you can say that IryS is an agent of OmegaAlpha that guides the EN members with her voice to Hololive.
