How do I test for iodine value of activated carbon?

How do I test for iodine value of activated carbon?
1. Take 0.5g of carbon powder;
2. Add 10ml hydrochloric acid,heat and boil for 30 seconds;
3. After cooling, add 50ml iodine solution,run it on the oscillator for 15 minutes;
4. Filtered solution;
5. Take 10ml filtrate and add 100ml pure water;
6. Add 2ml starch indicator solution;
7. Then slowly add sodium thiosulfate until the solution becomes transparent;
8. Finally, Iodine value was calculated according to the amount of sodium thiosulfate.
(In this video, we test four samples simultaneously)
