Great video! I guess you didn’t rebrew the good tea leaves, once you both poured the swill over them😅. For me, umami imparts a rich, savoury taste. I love how gyokuro has both umami and sweetness. I have never tried the concentrated brew method you used. Is that how you typically drink gyokuro?
Hi Christine, Gabriele writing. it really depends on the tea moment, I personally like a more diluted gyokuro at breakfast, but love the gyokuro shots along with snacks in the afternoon or right after a meal. I don’t use ton of water for the diluted version, brewing in a 70 ml shiboridachi.
