if you're not playing on survivor or grounded then always use listen mode to know where he is, don't step on any broken plates, keep your distance until you know it's safe to run in and shiv him, on the last section of the fight wait for him to make a move when he's crouched behind a booth, then use listen mode and track him and sneak behind him but be wary of how long you've spent moving towards him because he doesn't stay in one place for long
