When Tom came over with Chucky's box, I burst into tears ❤ that box has been a safe place for little friends to rest. I felt so happy to see you use it again for helping this little bird friend recover. 💗

Great job rescuing the bird. Sometimes when a bird is flying away from a predator, they might collide with something and it stuns them. Once it quit panting, that was a good sign. It seemed to be more alert and accepted the water you gave it.I’ve rescued several wild animals over the years. Thank you for saving the bird.

Birds that are this messed up from a window strike usually die later from their injuries. This bird needed immediate medical attention from a licensed vet or rehabber. This is an example of what not to do.

After saving her life, she will come back to visit. She'll tell her friends how a human saved her and gave her water and they will come to your yard. You're getting more friends in your yard. ❤

Oh, I clapped my hands when I saw the warbler flying away! I think she somehow got away from being attacked by a predator and was in shock for a while. I'm SO glad that you found her and saved her.

Best thing for birds in this state are to keep her warm, and put her in a box, in a quiet place, so she can recover without seeing anything, they will recover from their shock and be able to go if they were stunned by a window ar attack. You did so well❤
It looks like birds at our house that flew into the window because they saw reflections of trees and the yard.😢 If they are only stunned, they need protection from predators until they gain their senses back. Thank you for helping this little one.
I clapped and gave out a big wahoo after the warbler flew away. Right now I’m caring for 3 baby wrens. They built a nest in my potted ivy plant on my front stoop/porch. I feed 2 feral cats twice a day so I put hard rakes and chairs to block the plant stand and it seems everyone is understanding. Cats stay off the porch and momma and daddy bird are feeding their babies and have plenty of things to perch on. It feels good to contribute to nature. Choo Choo thank you for sharing your days with us. It brings such peace and calmness ❤️

저도 어제 병원 가는 길에 배수구에 갇혀 울고 있는 까치 한 마리를 구조했었네요.
울음 소리 듣자마자 제 귀에는 구해달라고 하는 소리로 들려서 두리번 거리다 도로변에 배수구에 갇혀 있는 까치를 보게 되었고,
우산 접어서 내려 놓고 바로 배수구 망을 들어 올리니 까치가 총총거리다 날아가더군요.
자연의 삶이라 해도 사람의 따뜻한 손길이 필요한 때에는 주저하지 말아야 하겠습니다.

I have seen many birds who have hit a window behave exactly like this. They get stunned from the impact on their brain. Once when I was in the Gulf of Mexico a hummingbird hit the sliding glass door. I had the incredible privilege on nursing it back to health with nectar in an eye dropper! Such amazing birds.

Maybe when it fell or was knocked down, it was in shock. But with your love and care but giving it safety and water, you revived the little thing! Your home is a scantuary to defenseless creatures of the earth and sky above!
