I was dead ass about to say the same thing, he don't even work there, hes just there with TJ as film crew and he hopped on the grinder and was using he hand to shield the sparks from the bottom of the car, a part that no one will even see

This has got to be one of finest if not finest oem nismo catalogue r34. The level of detail in this is unreal. May aswell go all in if you can afford it. A true forever car. Massive shoutout to Tommy and his crew. His shop is second to none. Absolutely love this series.
The details on this build are insane, in person you could stare at this for hours spotting all the unique parts. Great job guys.
Just so you know TJ Hunt the Nismo R1 RB26DETT Engine is better overall with 450hp stock.
R1 is a nismo built and R tuned RB26 that was the predocessor to the R2 which can be installed into any GTR.
The R2 engine is the package included within the Z-tune Nur 2.8L Engine.

I love all of the little oddly satisfying bits. Whether it’s the clicking of the side skirts or the removing of the seal on the glass. Idk if I said this right but you know what I mean. It’s like watching horse hooves be trimmed
I feel like this build is for all the kids from back in the 90s that would love to build there own r34 the same way!! Living our dreams out and bring it to our screens! Incredible job TJ 🔥🔥

Just so you know buddy the Nismo R1 RB26DETT Engine is better engine overall for perfoemance & reliability making 450hp stock.

I stopped watching TJ a while ago but this car has brought me back, I’m happy the channel has evolved and isn’t all about views, it’s more chill and less in your face

After finishing my '99 R34 only this past July 14th after 18 months of work and only owning it since June 2021... there's no better feeling. Awesome yours got done and EXACTLY how you wanted it. 👊😎

To match the aggressiveness of the front, you should do some wing risers!

I prefer R34's with stock wing stands, don't know why but makes it flow better
I strongly agree the wing risers make the gtr look perfect in my opinion

@@allenrice-cw8dc The R69 is such a super cool build, I would love a 34 or 35 and think the vr38 is the ultimate swap... but something about this "factory new/OEM+" just leaves me in awe. My inner perfectionist/ocd is so satisfied with obsessives builds like this.

TIP: when you stuck those carbon fiber add ons to the pillar, the best way to do it is peel just an inch or two of the 3M red backer off, let it hang outside the pillar, line it up and stick the spot you started peeling. then you can just walk up the pilar pulling the back out as you go. this makes things so much easier.

I hope you let them all experience from being behind the wheel of you BRAND NEW 2000 in 2023 R34 Masterpiece. That’s the only true way to describe it is masterpiece. I just know that it has to be exponentially better in person compared to what most of us will be able to see. 98% of us will never see or hear this in person. I love it. I love all you guys. You made the best decision making a “quick” series for us to watch. So anyone dogging on you for “lying” to us and not telling us while you built it are stupid. I’m so happy I got to watch all of these within a matter of a couple weeks vs being tortured, having to watch it over the length of time that I took you to build. I'm so confused. Was Tommy Fat Yeah cleared by the car community? I stopped keeping track of the drama pretty early on. Was the other party at fault? That vehicle is my favorite car of all time. In the video when you first got that beauty delivered, I totally felt for you. When she first fired up (although not running right) I got goose bumps. I could only think of how I would feel if one was delivered to my front door. I absolutely LOVE the work you have done and the machine is a fine piece of motor car history. My hat's off to you for being able to achieve something that some of us can only dream of here in the U.S.❤❤❤❤

Cool build, most jdm car guys dream build i would say. I wouldnt say its better than adams as this is a catalogue build and adam chose tastful stuff like endless brakes etc but def top level.

Jabroc is longer-wearing and less expensive than carbon fiber. It is about half the strength of steel, but it is 80% lighter than steel. It is also quicker to machine than steel, which means savings on fabrication costs.
imo carbon wing risers would be a nice touch but hey its still a very clean build so i cant complain
