THANKS whiskypapa for the interest. Oban is where my daughter wanted to be on her birthday. She's always right. I Loved that area. We're 5 minutes walking to the ferry and 50 minutes crossing to Craignure. 45 minutes on a bus to Tobermory. Just too close and colorful not to....... Slàinte Mhath

Hi James, Thank you kindly for your comments and the info on the Ledaig Rioja cask. (On my endless list) It seems the Rioja cask has become more popular amongst the distilleries and Scotch enthusiasts. While in the UK I noticed most Scotch is priced much less than here (I envy you) so I try to use a little bit of common sense with my Scotch budget. Slàinte Mhath
