Hey uncle baldy! newish sub here, I love the story telling and I think my way to contribute (not just listen) is to write little mini stories on your vid that are relevant to the topic, I hope you enjoy them. :) Here it goes: I hate those damned drop pods” Sergeant Tulius Agror thought to himself as the assault marine’s chainsword cut another greenskin in two The drop pods when descending from orbit had been separated due to a calculation error on the part of the ship crew, leaving the vanguard vets separated from their primaris Suppressor cover fire. That did not matter now, as they had a horde of filthy xenos to purge, out numbered 30 to one. “WAAAAAGH!” He heard from his left as a Mega-nob appeared and tore the head off of a space marine busy in another engagement. Tulius’ collar was up. He felt the burning hate inside him turn into a bon-fire, but things were grim, a squad were all that was left. He turned to the vile creature, and challenged him, the knob swung, he ducked underneath the blow, pulling out his combat knife and stabbing the knob all the way through the knee as to not allow it to regenerate before the knife was out. The knob yelped I pain, and Tulius charged from his flank, he knew he would have to take the hit to kill the greenskin. The filthy alien turn, and punched hard into Tulius helmet, warning runes and light flashed everywhere, but in taking the hit, he managed to disembowel the ork from pelvis to midriff having him fall over dead. Green blood and viscera spewed across the remaining marines armor like the heraldry of a new chapter. The sound of war crys, screaming xenos, dying marines, and chain axe revves filled the air in deafening measures; until, finally, at last he heard it on his vox comm. “Sergeant, disengage and look atop the hill. We found you.” The remaining 3 marines used their jump packs to disengage and looked over the horizon, only able to see the marines through the sunlight with their vision augments. And there they were, the suppressors turned a pitched battle into a killing field. Bits of green flesh, internal organs, and crude metalwork flew into the air like a blender without its lid on. With their autoguns and the high ground they turn a small tribal waaagh into a green soup. “These Primaris will serve the emperor well, thought Seargant Tulius”

I wonder if, should the overheating problem be fixed, the imperium would start to phase out bolter weapons in favor of plasma weapons. It would piss the space marines off to no end because they see the boltgun as sacred but still....
There would be little reason not to at the very minimum deploy more plasma weapons if this were the case. The problem is that the beliefs of the Mechanicus basically state that all technology already exists and is waiting to be rediscovered (by STC recovery not research). So any new research is deemed heretical.

I so desperately want to whisper to him, "Dude! What are you doing!?! Don't ever carry you weapon like that. You want the Sergeant to stick their boot so far up the squadron's ass that we'll be tasting leather and rubber until Christmas?"
I hate most of the reload poses because they are so damned inefficient. The iwYour primary hand should never leaves its position to pull the trigger without damned good reason, and the barrel always needs to be pointed at the baddies. The intercessor reload is so hard to look at from a practical standpoint, it’s worse than this one. But that new tactical reload in the multipart assault intercessors box looks awesome.
Can you guys just imagine .... Squads of aggressor's moving lockstep with assault Terminators for CQC support backed by Centurions both siege and ranged , just dozens or hundreds of these marching straight down the enemies throats... ohh it would be glorious , even the Orks would fall to their knees in awe at the DAKKA being unleashed
Is it just me, or that Suppressor flavor text is lifted directly from Starship troopers? The book, of course, not the movie. Someone in GW writing staff owes ole Heinlein at least a beer.
‘Destroy the unholy abominations!’ roared Exelloria, charging towards the xenos. ‘Spare this world the curse of the xenos. Bring forth your anger as you raise your weapons. Let your hatred guide your aim more surely than any targeter. Give no thought to the techno-sorcery of our foes. Your will is greater than any abhorrent conjuration!’ The necron that had been grounded was starting to recover, pushing itself upright from where it had fallen. ‘Those that defy the will of the Throne shall not endure! The just punishment for the Emperor’s enmity is death! Death!’ The Chaplain’s bolt rifle spat fiery rounds into the alien, joined by a sudden flurry of grenades from Brother Velecht. Into the plume of detonations, the Aggressors unleashed a tempest of rapid-fired bolt-rounds, shredding the alien where it lay. ‘Concentrate fire,’ ordered Nemetus, aiming his plasma pistol at the incoming skimmers. He squeezed the trigger and a ball of pulsing blue energy hit its mark dead centre. The power of a miniature star exploded through the xenos, a fountain of blue fire erupting amid a welter of molten droplets. Bolt-rounds sliced at its tumbling corpse and the third flying warrior. ‘More of them, on the ground,’ warned Gaihalius. The Intercessor turned, auspex in one hand, bolt rifle coughing rounds in the other, aiming towards the mangled doors of the closest terminal building. The aliens that emerged were akin to the flying creatures but stalked forward on a trio of slender legs, their clawed tips tearing at the ground. Fresh blasts of jade energy leapt out from the walkers’ weapons, slicing neat cuts through Brothers Kallius and Demeter; the former lost his leg, the latter was bisected from crotch to shoulder by the dancing beams. The other Intercessors responded with disciplined volleys of fire, laying down a continuous hail of bolts between them. The aliens were staggered but not slain by the fusillade, pressing forward into the storm of fire rather than retreating…’ ‘The assault ramp of the drop pod pitched open, bringing a waft of air baked by retro-thrusters into the compartment. Nemetus was out of his harness, shield and pistol in hand, even as the ramp hit the scorched ground. Boots clanging, he led the Intercessor squad out onto the surface of Orestes III. They were not the first to make planetfall. That honour had fallen to the outrider squad, whose specially modified pod had deposited their combat bikes half a mile away, beyond the other necron force. Even now they were circling around the spatial elevator station to assess the situation at the main defence. Half a dozen more drop pods slammed down around the disembarking Ultramarines, each depositing a squad of fresh warriors into the overgrown grass surrounding the facility. Small brush fires spread from the last burst of thruster jets, wisps of smoke joining the heat haze of orbital descent. ‘The enemy are pressing the attack, brother-lieutenant,’ said the Intercessor with the long-range auspex, Brother Gaihalius. ‘No response to our landing yet.’ ‘An error that we will make them pay dearly for,’ voxed Brother Exelloria. The Chaplain approached in the company of the Aggressors, their flamers replaced with rapid-firing boltstorm gauntlets for longer range. The bulky Gravis armour of their leader, Brother Velecht, was further enlarged by a fragstorm grenade launcher mounted on his shoulders…’ ‘Cut a path for the Hellblasters,’ the captain called to his battle-brothers, pivoting his shield and hurling himself forward like a ram, slamming a xenos wraith into the wall. Judiciar Admonius swung his executioner relic blade at the trapped creature, the edge of his sword gleaming with a flash of power as it struck. Behind them, the Bladeguard drove forward and then parted, pinning the enemy between them. A hail of plasma bolts followed from the Hellblasters, turning the necron apparitions to scattered fragments, molten metal spraying against the forcefields of the veterans’ shields. Another volley followed a few seconds later, pulping the last twitching remnants of the xenos, scattering the scarabs that had started to clamber over the bodies to repair them. The intensity of fire from the Incursors ahead drew Aeschelus on until the passage brought them out at the bottom of a large spherical chamber, bisected by a waist-high wall clustered with glowing green spheres. Strange, angular hieroglyphs marked the ribbing of vaults overhead, which gleamed with their own light. Dozens of cables snaked in all directions, pulsing with the flow of energy. The Incursors held the other four entrances, firing almost without end at gangling, floating shapes beyond. ‘Good find,’ Aeschelus told Lato, banging the sergeant on the backpack with the with the pommel of his sword. He switched the vox to company address. ‘Holding positions. Intercessors and Hellblasters to the fore. Bladeguard as mobile reserve. Bring up the charges…’ - Indomitus, +++ War on Orestes III +++

Congratulations on hitting 65k Master Orator
Thanks dude. :) :) :)
Is it just me, or that Suppressor flavor text is lifted directly from Starship troopers? The book, of course, not the movie. Someone in GW writing staff owes ole Heinlein at least a beer.
IM 35 MINS LATE!!!
sorry sage...my land spender malfunctioned
algorithm +1, still waiting for the 1h version of the intro

Cool Galactus mention. Loved that guy since he turned up in Fantastic Four all those years ago. Sigh. Good times. :)
Anyone here hasn’t finished the video yet
The aliens were staggered but not slain by the fusillade, pressing forward into the storm of fire rather than retreating…’
‘The assault ramp of the drop pod pitched open, bringing a waft of air baked by retro-thrusters into the compartment. The bulky Gravis armour of their leader, Brother Velecht, was further enlarged by a fragstorm grenade launcher mounted on his shoulders…’
‘Cut a path for the Hellblasters,’ the captain called to his battle-brothers, pivoting his shield and hurling himself forward like a ram, slamming a xenos wraith into the wall. Bring up the charges…’ - Indomitus, +++ War on
Orestes III +++
So.... I'm having trouble finding the follow up to this video that you mentioned releasing at 1700 London time on Friday night.... 3 months ago. Forgive my ignorance, I'm sure I've just overlooked it. Could you perhaps provide a link in a reply?
As always, thank you for what is IMHO the absolute finest WH40K lore channel. In fact, of all the lore creators, across a great diversity of interests, yours alone packs an overwhelming dose of verve. At "hello gentle listener..." I have already suspended my disbelief in order to immerse myself fully into your oration.
A large entry on an important legion/chapter... uh yes baldy absofuckingloutly dammit!
New long vid? Hoping it is like Rogal dorns... or the long awaited Robette from Baldermorts perspective!!!!
