Amen. This was a rich study. I appreciate your practical illustrations. Like Jesus, the Master Teacher, we should make our lessons practical for everyone, anywhere in their journey in life or in their culture.
The illustrations of self-denial and how our ambitions affect our children and us too is phenomenal. The Culture has women revved up with ambition for achievement in the world and yet with the longing and desire to be parents. These two job expectations often conflict especially in the very formative years of the child's life. When the choice to work or to parent conflicts the aftermath is regrets and bitterness on both sides. The child usually feels abandoned. The response to this can be seen in the numerous nursing homes/homes for the elderly in this country.

For the entire quarter's lessons, these books by EGWhite are very helpful: Christ's Object Lesson, The Desire of Ages, The Ministry of Healing.
These all can be accessed online by listening and reading.
E.G.White's NOTES for the Sabbath School Lessons are available on Claudio Carniero's RUclips Channel beautifully read by Carla Morris.
    Very, very insightful and inspiring.

It is true that our thoughts make us sick but it is also true that lifestyle makes us sick. We can also say that SIN makes us sick; our own or that we received from inheritance through our DNA.
The chapter, Mind Cure, in the book The Ministry of Healing by Ellen G.White shares wonderful insights on this topic, and others. It's worth reading and careful study. This book can be accessed online by search.
