Eluryng was my first ever bc (at age 32). Had terrible mood swings the first week or so on it. People noticed since I'm not an angry moody person, not even on my period. Did notice some slight "water retention" but that has gone down after the second round on it. Overall Weight gain on the Eluryng was about 2 lbs. I don't get weird cravings on food, my period is relatively light, but I do get more clots than I did before on it. Period now lasts about 3 full days, whereas before it was like 4-5 full days. The only weird thing I've noticed is hair loss. Idk if it's school stress or work stress related, but I hope it stops 😬 I'm on round 5 of Eluryng now, doing fine. Now I renewed my rx and they gave the generic PRASCO brand one..... I hope it doesn't give me some weird side effects. OH YEAH, libido-wise.... takes way longer to orgasm for real 😬🤔🤔

Been on Nuva ring in my early twenties for one year after 8-9 years on the pill, then had 10 yrs years break of no bc and got on Nuva ring due to severe perimenopause issues and it saved my life literally. I’m surviving through perimenopause because of it. I had lost 20 lbs in 3 months from nausea during my strong hyper ovulations and evil pms that developed. It managed all of this and also took my anemia away. I do have side effects from it, but it does subside after 4th month or so.

I just got my first Eluryng and I’m terrified to use it. It’s way too confusing on how to place it and when to remove. My OBGYN prescribed it but didn’t explain how to place it. I don’t think im going to try it. I have read too many bad reviews. Thanks for this video. So many people say differently when you are supposed to insert it. One said to put it in on day one of your period. 3-4 weeks with a ring you still have to use a condom? I thought this was a spermicide. Yeah-definitely not using this ring.

The Nuvaring not doing me well at all. I had to take mine out this morning. I have been expecting all the bad side effects. Fever, vomiting, anxiety diarrhea etc etc. I never expected this before on the ring back in 2013. Thank you for this video.

I’m experiencing the vomiting, anxiety, and diarrhea. I had an IUD before this and had the same symptoms. My dr said to push through the 3 months and it didn’t work for me. I removed mine last night after throwing up, body shakes after, heart pounding, and couldn’t sleep until 3am

Me either. I feel like mine is in wrong. 😒 It’s at a weird angle but it’s small up there and it’s hard to maneuver. It’s a lot more complicated than they demonstrate at the doctor.

It took me some time to get used to it and for my body to realize it was okay to have it in there. There were some times where I just couldn’t put it in, walked away, and came back and it worked when I wasn’t so stressed. Hopefully it works for you!
