I've seen The Last Stop in Yuma County and I highly recommend it! I'd say it's more of a comedy than anything, but still absolutely hilarious with some very unexpected scenes. The screening I was at had a Q&A with the director and Jim Cummings, and I would have had no idea it was the director's feature film debut if he didn't mention it.

I really can't wait to see 'You Can't Run Forever' as I love seeing JK Simmons playing a bad guy. I love the set up "Something in the Water' as I did a trailer reaction for it and 'Mind Body and Spirit' look freaky and wild.

I have to be honest. With the rising cost of just everyday living, I just can't justify putting out more money to rent a movie, above and beyond what I am already paying for access to several streaming services. I tend to just wait until they are included on a service I have. Plus, not much has gotten me excited lately. I did really like Late Nite With the Devil, but just saw it once it came on Shudder.
Yuma County is fantastic. Got a screener. Well worth your time.

New subscriber here. Love the "horror/thriller with disturbing meaning" vibe and how odd that is next to your love for Vincent Price who only went there with Witchfinder General. My older recommendations to you are Baby Face (1933), The House That Screamed (1969), Lemora (1973), Submission (1976 - jaw dropping ending) and Paperhouse (1988 - made my daughter cry.)

Wow, so many films to look forward to this month. I´m very curious about the Nightwatch sequel. The danish original scared me so much when I was a kid. What you wish for, The last stop in Yuma country, New life, You can't run forever and Something in the water also made my to watch list.

Thanks, as always for the list of upcoming horror films, Emma. There are a couple of titles that I will check out like Something In The Water, Last Stop In Yuma Country, What You Wish For, and Nightwatch: Demons Are Forever. I still remember seeing the remake of Nightwatch in theaters and then renting the original on VHS about two months later back in 1997. I really should rewatch the original soon before "28 years in the making sequel" comes out. 😉

I Saw The TV Glow unfortunatly doesn't get a VOD May 17, its nationwide cinema release in America only, and there's no VOD release on it.
I don't usually list when films that get a in the cinema release are also now digital just straight to digital releases or limited releases if that makes sense.
Because of New Life , how about horror films with the best posters on the next upload………

New life sucked imo, I had to skip forward to the ending. Dont you just know when something's going to end a certain way?
I was EXTREMMELY surprised that so many good shows and movies don't get sequels, while Reginald got the Season 2...WHY? It wasn't even that funny...more like awkward and always body shaming jokes didn't make it better...like we get it - he's a 'FAT' vampire...'ha-ha'...and this jokes runs through the whole season...ugh
Terrifier 2 was complete crap.
