Beautiful parade ....Very beautifully captured my friend ....wonderful share👍👍👍
Thank you my friend 😀
Perfect framing of the video in the fireworks footage!
It was nice to have the Merlion and MBS in view. I am waiting to see your filming 😀
Wow the aircraft’s and shots are spectacular! Beautiful parade such a fantastic capture 👌👌😍😍
Glad that you like this. The fireworks is the crowd favourite. You can feel the vibrations and smell the smoke if you are on location.
@@SingaporeCityWalks 😍😍😍
@@SingaporeCityWalksalso the Chinook and Super Puma part is like the days where the Chinook with the flag was escorted by 2 Super Pumas before the apaches took over
@@sieandknsproductions3491 The State Flag flypast is a unique Singapore tradition with the Chinooks and Apaches now.

@@SingaporeCityWalkswhere amd when to catch the guard of honour
@@sieandknsproductions3491 You can watch the guard of honour from 5.30pm. The location is between Victoria Theatre and Anderson Bridge. Many photographers and cameramen will be there inside the barricaded area. They will block your views if you want to take pictures. If you want to watch only, then it's ok to be there.
@@SingaporeCityWalks will anderson bridge be closed for preview
Wonderful national day parade. The jet flights are really impressive with their flying techniques. You also captured perfect fireworks 🎆 behind the merlion 👍🏼💜😁
The jets were impressive. The fireworks were filmed in the perfect location with the Merlion at the side and Marina Bay Sands in the background. However the water droplets from the Merlion reaches the camera wherever the wind blows. I will move further away if I am to film this again.
@@SingaporeCityWalks you are a great photographer I know the fireworks are very hard to film. Specially you also have to worry about the water droplets 💦😄 you did awesome job
@@LEILAARTSPACE Thank you Leila for your lovely comments and encouragements ❤
@@SingaporeCityWalks you are so passionate about filming, it’s awesome you share these special moments 👍🏼💜

Nice parade 😍
Thank you my friend.
Very nice parade ❤
Thank you my friend 😀
the Hi G formation is really hard to execute - not any fighter pilot can tolerate that
It's double difficult for 2 jets to execute this Hi-G while maintaining formation. It's 9G. 9 times the force of gravity acting against them. I hope to film this 1 more time on National Day, if I can get into Marina Bay Area. The crowd will be overwhelming.
at least we can get to see a bit of behind the scenes for the national day parade such as uncovering of the regimental colours ceremony in the beginning followed by the formation of the ceremonial 25-pounder howitzers. you can also show us the standby mode of the mobile columns and their preparations to move out to the parade grounds next time as well as the events happening on the eve of the ndp day like what i saw at the kallang national stadium in 2016.
You need to rush from 1 segment to the other as their locations are far apart. Also need to know the sequence of the aerial display in order not to miss any thing. Thanks for your comments. By the way I was filming at the Kallang Stadium NDP too. They forgot to light up the stadium roof with the Singapore Flag at the critical moment!! I wondered whether anybody got into big trouble after the NDP.
@@SingaporeCityWalks another faulty moment at the kallang stadium during the 2016 ndp event was the retractable roof unable to open in time for the red lions' skydiving display.
That's just a rehearsal? Do they actually repeat everything include the amazing fireworks display? Great video as usual.
They repeat everything, making changes and fine tuning along the way. There are altogether 7 rehearsals, 2 Preview Shows and the actual day Parade. 10 times altogether. The first 3 rehearsals were without fireworks. The balance 7, all have fireworks. You can imagine the amount of resources and money burned.
It's not easy to time the jets aerial display to synchronise with the parade segment on the ground. In previous years, they even simulate army tanks breaking down during the rehearsals to test the recovery process. You saw the 2 State flags strung underneath the helicopters? Each flag is the size of 2 basketball courts. They are huge and may be ripped apart by strong winds. The standby State Flag only go away when the 2 Flags are near the Marina Bay Area. This parade is the most important event every year in Singapore. Even during the height of covid -19 pandemic in 2020, a mini parade was still held to show that Singapore is a resilient nation.
May I know is there any rehearsal left before national day this year?
Nice, what time is the uncasing of colours?
Approx 5.40pm. There will be a lot of media people blocking you so you need a camera that has stabiliser and can zoom in to shoot between the media people.
Dear Sir,
Can you kindly Tell me "Where is the Exact Location for the Uncasing of the Colors Flag and
What Time Does the Uncasing of the Colors Flag Starts ?"
Please kindly reply to me as soon as possible. I look forward to receiving your reply soon.
Thank you.
From;
Miss Estella Yeo
Hi Estella, I have been in Bangkok for the past week and didn’t have time to check the comments. Sorry about this.
The location of the uncasing is between Anderson Bridge and Victoria Concert Hall. Exact location is above the pedestrian under pass.
The time is Approx 5.40pm. There will be a lot of media people blocking you so you need a camera that has stabiliser and can zoom in to shoot between the media people.
Hope this info is in time for you.
Will there be another fireworks rehearsal?
There will be 5 more fireworks. 8 Jul (NE2), 15 Jul (NE3), 22 Jul (Preview 1), 29 Jul (Preview 2) & Aug 9 (NDP). The best location is in the middle of Jubilee Bridge. Best to visit/shoot during rehearsals as the Jubilee Bridge/Merlion may be blocked or cordoned on 9 Aug. Fireworks start at 8.15pm. Don't go away after the 1st bursts as there will be a 2nd short burst around 8.21pm. Have fun!
At what time parade will start…?
I don't know the actual start time. But I know that there's a pre-parade segment and the Red Lions jump off the plane at 6.10pm and the State Flag fly past is at 6.50pm. Have fun!
May i know where you stand so you can watch all these? I'm not locals, i caught last year's in front of art science museum. But heard that this year the location is changed is it?
@@melissawie7999 This year's NDP is at the Padang, a different location from last year. You can stand at the Jubilee Bridge to watch. State Flag flypast will be at 6.50pm followed by the 21-Gun Salute and the rest of the planes. You can also see the fireworks from Jubilee Bridge.
You can expect the Jubilee Bridge to be blocked when it's full of people, so go there early, like 4 to 5 pm. If you need to go the toilet (there's one near the small Merlion), you can't get back onto the bridge.
Fireworks is at 8.15pm for 5 mins. Stop for about 1m 45 secs and resume for 1 more min.
You will not be able to see the guard of honour, Red Lions and the mobile column. All the best to you.
@@melissawie7999Melissa, I saw some videos of the fireworks captured from the Marina Bay Sands side. The angle is nice too. You might want to view from that side as you are familiar with MBS.
This MBs location is good for fireworks but not good for viewing the aerial display. Cheers.
What time was the mobile column
Mobile column is at 6.13pm. Get as far away from Suntec as you can, cos the vehicles will stop and queue up at Suntec area. You will end up shooting stationery vehicles. Sequence is Military vehicles, Turn around to film the Red Lions, Floats (which I did not show) and police and SCDF vehicles. All the best 😀
@SingaporeCityWalks do you know what time if I want to catch moving mobile column at North Bridge Road (infront Funan Mall)?
@@lowchijun9330 Around 7.15pm. Take note that it will be dark. You can try catching it a bit further away from Funan. From opposite of Capitol, with St Andrews Cathedral behind you.
@SingaporeCityWalks thanks for your info. If I want to catch fighter jet landing after NDP reherseal, do you know will the jets land at Paya Lebar airbase ?
@@lowchijun9330 I don't have info on the jets landing 😊
